Already took away Floreal's scholly, we have to get to 13.

Poy will most likely leave.

16

Murray is gone to the NBA.

15

Find it hard to believe Skal remains anywhere close to the lottery but even harder to believe he stays.

14 left.

Not to mention Bolden wanting to commit (supposedly)

Briscoe will not be drafted at this point - (regardless of what Caneintally says)

Lee? a shorter, weaker, slower WCS? maybe, I guess.

Tyler? Definitely plenty of excuses not to waste a 1st rounder on him for sure at this point.

2 more must go, 3 if we take Bolden.

Cal is definitely thinking about it, IMHO.

Poythress is a senior so he has no choice.

Murray is a automatic.

Skal is gone, an NBA team will draft and store him. This is a incredibly weak draft.

Ulis and Lee will also leave due to draft. Cannot improve their stock

Poy can stay another year with a hardship.

Definitely a weak draft, I still do not see 1st round for Ulis or Lee but agree that both could easily decide to go.

I could see Pothress leaving and doing that 5th year transfer thing somewhere, and probably do pretty well.

Good heavens I sure do hope so. I was missing Jamaal Magloire tonight.

From what I've seen and all that I've read and know about (this has been my favorite recruit of this class for over a year - really wanted him) the guy is a killer on the court. Absolute alpha dog. Dude is built like a brick chit house and wants to kill any hopes anyone has on the court. Monk has that killer instinct too, the only person that I feel is even close to that on our basketball team is Murray.

I can personally stake my rep that Fox is an alpha dog as well.

Poy, Murray, And Tyler are gone. Briscoe, Lee, and Skal are better than 50% gone. Skal could stay just because his confidence is so low.

Where does Briscoe go unless he goes on an absolute crazy Steph Curry- like run?

He's projected a late first rounder right now. That may drop but he won't fall out of the 2nd round and that's all he'll need to leave. That's why he came here, to be one and done. Plus he knows what's coming in next year. If he returns next year he would be here as a JR. He definitely doesn't want that. I couldn't believe Goodwin left and got drafted in the 1st round.

Thats why they all come here but many dont go.

Poy was projected as the Number 1 pick at one point with Chad Ford - meant nothing.

Briscoe is not in the same universe athletically as Goodwin IMO.

A guard that cant shoot with little athleticism has a very low chance of getting drafted, Aaron Harrison is 3 times the offensive payer Briscoe is with about the same athleticism, not as strong physically.

Goodwin had more size and brought more to the table than Briscoe. Goodwin would be a blessing to add to this team.

Bam probably would have started day one on this years team. I think he would have beaten Skal out fairly easy.

Ulis is gone. He almost left last year. As the previous poster said, his stock will never get higher than it was last year.

Kobi Simmons is also a strong possibility, but don't see Kentucky getting him unless they lose Ulis, Briscoe, and Murray.

Seems like Simmons might be Briscoe part two. Guard with no shot, at least by rep

I wasn't comparing Briscoe to Goodwin in how they play or ability, only how Goodwin didn't appear to be ready to go to the NBA but he got drafted in the 1st round. Briscoe is projected in the early 20's of the 1st round right now. I don't agree with that at all but it's true and it helps that it's a weak draft class.

I'd make Briscoe leave and in no way would I take Kobi Simmons. He's another guard who cant shoot. The only possibilities to return IMO is Ulis and Lee. And I keep trying to figure out who I'd rather have. A SR Lee or Bolden. I'm up in the air about it. Here's what I'm guessing.....

Ulis 5'9
Fox 6'3
Monk 6'4
Gabriel 6'10
Bam 6'10

Bolden 6'10
SKJ 6'11
Mathews 6'6
Mulder 6'4
Willis 6'9
Hawkins 6'0
Humphries 7'0
Wynyard 6'10

Don't ask me why I included height. I do random things sometimes. But that's a really bad a** team who I don't see losing many games if any. That team will absolutely freaking dominate college basketball next season. Bam is gonna be that bully PF I've been waiting for. ALPHA MALE. And kids like Fox and Monk seem to have that killer instinct too.

Wrong. Aaron did not play defense as well as a a Briscoe.

I don't know. There's absolutely zero chance he makes an NBA roster anywhere(without the Steph Curry run), maybe he would want to play in Europe. Just like this year's freshmen I wouldn't be counting on Lebron James-type performance from next year's freshman until I see them on the court.

I wouldn't be surprised if teams looked at his strength and driving ability and took a late first round flyer on him because you can teach a kid to shoot. I just see him as a confident kind of kid who wants to advance ASAP.

I can see Tyler going , He's not going to raise his stock any higher .. same with Skal , he ever wants to sniff being drafted he better fool them he can . the ? mark is Lee , who would draft a guy with no serious NBA level skill at all ? I love him , great personality but he doesn't offer any specific skill at all. Briscoe ? He should go , never going to another chance with who we have coming in . Even if he isn't drafted , go .

I doubt it too. However with next year's draft being a smorgasbord of talent, they'd probably have a better chance this year than next. My guess is they both get out. Obviously I would love to have Tyler back. Lee I would welcome back too but I think he'd be in a backup roll again if Bam is what we all hope he is.

I'd love to agree with that but I've gotten to the point where I need to take these posts with a grain of salt. These kids are freshmen and most if tge time we sensationalize the crap out of them then we are usually backpeddling after 5 games and wondering why they aren't ripping backboards in half.
Next year's team is going to need upperclassmen if they are going to be successful early and often.

If he does, I hope he finds the heart that he lacks here thus far. I wish him the best regardless of what he does. I do think he's a quality young man, an extraordinary athlete and a little better than average, by UK standards at least, basketball player. I just don't think he has a passion for the game.

Poythress, Ulis, Murray, and Skal are gone, without question. I think that Briscoe tests the waters, but may return. That leaves Willis, Lee, Mulder, Hawkins, Matthews, Humphries, and Wynyard. We're adding Fox, Monk, Adebayo, Gabriel, and Killeya-Jones. If Briscoe comes back then that is 13 scholarships, the limit. The numbers work.

We'll be fine. We'll have Lee, Humphries, Willis, Wynyard, Adebayo, Killeya-Jones, and Gabriel in the frontcourt and Briscoe, Hawkins, Matthews, Fox, Mulder (see what I did there?), and Monk in the backcourt. We'll be solid.

Our head coach needs to recruit a shooter or two and them run something for them on offense so they can get their shots. Not every person on our team can beat our opponents off the dribble every time. We are not the quickest team in college basketball. And this year we have no interior presence to take pressure off of the wing guys. Mulder needs to start and Briscoe needs to sit and then give Ulis a breather every now and then and I bet that might open things up more.

Totally agree...this is a very weak draft...look past the top 10, it's garbage. Skal will go top 10-lottery, Murray top 10, Briscoe first round.

Ullis is gone, has better chance of sneaking in first round... Poythress is gone (graduates). Lee only question mark, might go because of who's coming in and his PT will go down

We will have enough spots, last thing I'm worried about.
