Vols starting safety McCollough in deep ish

I like how you conveniently left out the part where he followed the guy outside and hit him. That's just shady on your part.

And again, why are you here defending this?

Not defending this…saying that none of you have the whole story…and if this happened to you or your friends, you’d likely do something about it

If some drunk walked into my house, there’d be a problem

I’d say if this was a Kentucky player you’d agree

Nothing to see here, move along. TN just like before will brush this under the rug and he will play Saturday.
Karma is a real thing though, it always catches up.
Cash in Mcdonalds bag for recruits - meh
Rape charges against half the team - obviously not thier fault
Beat up a dude that was apologizing and push him down the stairs- justified

No matter what they win, I will never look at this program as a clean legit program. They are the true scum of the earth.

Lots of salty itt but this might be the most salty

I love how nobody here would be angry , hit, or shoot a drunk that walked in their house.

…and all that has been reported is the drunk guys side

it’ll play out

Did the player or the gf call the police? If this was truly some self defense thing, I'm sure they would have. The threat couldn't have been that great if they let him out the door without altercation. And even if he called them a dick, is that cause for busting heads?

Kids make mistakes. It's not like KPD is out there hassling the football team are they? And usually one punch doesn't lead to a wrapped up, bloody hand does it?

As for me, I certainly wouldn't be on my rivals board defending it.

The only side you’ve heard is the guy who freely admits -

he was drinking

Walked in the wrong apartment (McCulloughs girlfriend)

When confronted, told him to not be a dck about it

You think there might be more to it?

No. I just think the vols recruit trash players and will accept anyone they think can help them win a game. The WR from Cali and Banks are perfect examples.

But to your question, the chicken shit sfty for the vols waited until the drunk left and Sacher punched him from behind. Certainly braver than 8-10 vol players beating a cop unconscious and leaving in the middle of the street, maybe he needs a holiday named after him. Trash day sounds right.

Drunk man walk into your apartment. You offer him tea?
No. You say “Get out” and give him a chance to leave. If he refuses to leave, then you beat him to a pulp. What happened her was the guy walked into an unlocked apart thinking it was his, saw it was not, apologized, and left. From what we do know, he didn’t threaten anyone. He just made a mistake and tried to leave. Your player then decides to follow him out and assault him. If you’re gonna knock a dude out. At least drag him back inside your place and say he refused to leave. This guy was leaving and even in the most conservative states you don’t get to follow someone and hurt them. Well. Maybe Florida.

you’ve heard half the story…and when the drunk guy left, he already admitted saying you don’t have to be a dck about it.

…but none of you would do anything but escort him to the door.

If he left. YES. You don’t have the right to follow someone and assault them. That’s pretty much illegal in all 50 statss. So the drunk guy saying “such a dick about it” justifies him get clobbered as he’s leaving? Typical Tennesseean. Any excuse to assault or throw something.
.
If he doesn’t leave then of course you defend your property.

Half the story huh? Please enlighten us on the other half. I await with eager anticipation justifying this one.

Ummmm….drunk man enter wrong apartment…

According to the Knoxville News Sentinel, "around 3:28 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a call at an apartment at 2030 Grand Ave. A man with a bloody, swollen mouth and missing teeth said he had been drinking with friends that live in the complex when he went to get items from a vehicle, according to the arrest warrant. The man said when he returned, he accidentally went to the wrong building. He knocked on the door but no one answered. So he opened the unlocked door and entered the apartment."
What if a drunk walked into your crib

Nothing to see here move along. UT fans wouldn’t care if their whole team got out of jail on Saturday morning to play. They will already be dressed in prison orange. Then they can go duck hunting later and never have to change.

You haven’t heard the other side

nobody but his lawyer has

Yes.

I had something this happen when I lived in a slum apartment near WKU’s campus. Drunk ass dude and an even drunker girl burst into my apartment randomly at about 1 am.

I said “woah, wrong place, y’all.” They apologized profusely and backed out the door, closing it behind them. I never got off my couch. They were going to a party at my neighbor’s and got the apartment number wrong.

I didn’t follow them and beat them bloody. Same goes if a drunk person called me a dick or MFer. But I’m a decent person. Your safety sounds like a future repeat offender with a rage problem.

Agreed to this 100%. Coach Heupel has been pretty proactive in disciplining players so far. Love it when people bring up sh*t within the program that happened 20 years ago
Bru McCoy wasn't 20 years ago. How long did JH suspend him for beating the crap out of his girlfriend??

Years ago a drunk man in Lexington went in the wrong house. Homeowner shot and killed him.

If some guy came into my home drunk I'd beat his ass and throw him out on the street. Actually if some stranger walks in my home I can shoot him dead in TN and no questions asked.

As would most here if they could separate themselves from whose team was involved

Uh. No we wouldn’t. The difference, and I know this is really hard for some, is the lack of belligerence. If someone comes into your house and starts threatening you and smashing up stuff (belligerence) you can defend yourself as you should. Somebody opens the door and says “Whoops wrong house” and you proceed to kick the shot out of them at the end of your drive way, you’re going to be facing an arrest in most situsations. Because what happens if it’s a 15 year old kid who screws up? Oh well? Again. Dude left his property (the inside of the apartment) and was outside of the apartment when the assault allegedly took place. That’s a crime. Everywhere. It would be me chasing a trespasser down my street and then beating the shit out of him. Guess who’s going to jail there? Me. Because at that point I’m not on my property. And because he’s renting he doesn’t have jurisdiction outside of his apartment door. His landlord does. And in that case the landlord would have to trespass him. If your player had beat the shot out of him IN the apartment? Case closed self defense. But he didn’t do he? He followed him out the door and assaulted him after the trespasser agreed to leave. He broke the law. Period. End of discussion.

But again, tell us you’re from Tennessee without telling us you’re from Tennessee.

Love it when fans of other teams come into our house. Don’t worry though. We won’t follow you out the door.

Didn’t like 5 UK players refuse to leave a house party this offseason?

Oh that's 100% different then. That's what I get for not reading the story. Working 13 hours today made me lazy lol. If he followed him out and beat him down then kick him off the team

Sure TN cops will let him off.

They might have improved, in years past he wouldn't have sat one play, and I'm not saying he will now.

No but the guy apologized and tried to leave. If that’s true and he followed him out and kicked his teeth out and down a flight of stairs he deserves a trip to jail. It was 3 in the afternoon. Not 3 am.
Wow, 3PM, that makes a lot of difference.

Didn't they miss all of the preseason and half the season? And wasn't it all under questionable circumstances, and after it was delayed a long time so they missed the maximum amount of the season?
