I’m worried about Butler’s injury long-term. We have an established history at this point of not looking like the same team with him out of the lineup.
For tonight though, I’m really proud of our guys for stepping up and gutting this one out after he left the game. Having another win over a highly rated Tennessee team on the resume is huge for us as we battle all these injuries down the home stretch.

Another great win and masterpiece of a coaching job by Pope. I remember when’s Barnes owned our last coach.
I thought we played really impressive tonight for the most part. Hell of a game from Noah, and Brea stepped up at the end. Really hoping Butler won't miss too much time, Jaxson as well.
Tennessee was reportedly one of the first schools to contact Noah when he decomitted from USC, along with Louisville, but he knew he wanted to come to UK.
So after holding South Carolina to their second lowest output on offense all season, our defense held UT to their 3rd lowest.
Almost guarantees that the Cats see them again in the SEC tournament. 3peats are tough, just ask KC.
4 of our last 7 games are against the unranked SEC teams.

Mark M Pope, don't ask what the M stands for, is showing that he is growing into his coaching job very nicely. He can coach his butt off. It doesn't mean that he won't occasionally make some mistakes and when he does, he isn't too proud to admit his mistakes.
They said he was good for the long term before tonight so hopefully it just aggravated the pain and he will be okay after some rest.
we don’t win without the whole cast. noah, almanor, perry all got huge plays. but we don’t win by double figures or maybe at all if not for those two 3’s by brea. those were ridiculous. we couldn’t even get the ball inside the arc and he said…so what?
I had work to do but starting drinking after 5 mins in. I'm so pumped right now!!!
