US lawmakers want Trump to call out UK Apple iCloud encryption backdoor demand
Home Office iCloud backdoor request slammed by US officials
England is demanding that Apple add a back door for their law enforcement to be able to access people’s iCloud accounts. The end result of this is that any government in the world will be able to subpoena your “secure” personal data and request it from England. It also provides a juicy target for hackers as you’re building in a vulnerability. Seems like total BS but wanted to see if anyone here had thoughts on the issue.
