Hey all, probably a silly question. Haven’t been to a game in years. My wife and I are getting tickets to the U of L game. She’s worried we’re going to wind up in a fight with Louisville fans if we sit there.

I’m assuming some of ya’ll have sat in the visiting team side without issue?

I think this year is gonna be brass knuckles night @ the Commonwealth/C. M. Newton field/ Kroger stadium. Also just so you don’t worry about the people in the suites Mitch B. hires Blackwater Security for the Gubnuhz Cup.

For U of L the last few years, in the second half, you can sit in the Louisville side without Louisville fans.

Visitors band and fans sit in Section 12. At times, it will migrate over to section 13. Our tickets are in section 11 and we have only had one instance of idiots...... any guess, Florida.

I sat in section 11 for years, right by the visiting band, and there were rarely any issues beyond drunken idiots (our fans half the time) puffing their chests a little too much. If you're not sitting in the visitor section in the corner you're not going to be surrounded by them anyway.

And any masochist UL fans who actually want to sit through that bloodbath will probably be quiet and timid anyway.

Been there, done that. I do not pay any attention to them. The only one was a Florida fan last year running their chops at me.

I'm in SEC 206 and we have to deal with some of them. Their band is in the visitors section in the west end corner of the stadium, but can be scattered out on our side.

Last LSU game had an LSU lady threw up from being too drunk right at kick off. Cleared out a few rows. Saw her on the golf cart being taken out shortly there after.
