now I care, I want Vince to be 2-0 in bowl games as playcaller. He will bring it up over & over again for years.

If he does it’s because he’s the one option that can run because nobody on the roster is going to pass them to victoryI can’t see Destin starting. I see some run packages for Wade, but he won’t throw any.
Why won't he?I can’t see Destin starting. I see some run packages for Wade, but he won’t throw any.
Why do we assume he’s not capable of passing the ball? What do we know about him at all? I thought I remembered people claiming he was actually more of a drop back passer when other people were assuming he was a running/option type. I could be thinking of somebody else though. If he does it’s because he’s the one option that can run because nobody on the roster is going to pass them to victory
I went and watched his HUDL videos. He has nice touch, average arm strength....the thing that will make or break him is recognizing defenses and checking down quickly. His ability to pass is very weak. But don’t take my word for it. Wait for the bowl game. I’m betting his QB role will be in a run-package only. Time will tell, but I’m sticking to my prediction.
I don’t know what anybody else has said or whatever but I saw him play a few times in high school and Sheron too. They just aren’t guys that are likely to ever be the type of qb where you’re relying on them to make intermediate accurate throws to march you down the field and all of that. Wade is a physical guy and physical type runner with the ball. He can chuck it downfield off of play action and that type stuff but he’s not a guy that is going to pin point it to receivers and march it downfield that way. Add to that he’s never played a snap I’m going to guess his running would be the reason they would go with him in the bowl if that is true. Why do we assume he’s not capable of passing the ball? That sounds like Levis at PSU, so who knows..I don’t know what anybody else has said or whatever but I saw him play a few times in high school and Sheron too. I'm good with that.Load up a video of Lynn Bowden in Charlotte, and let’s GO!
Yup! And I love it. Love that UK has a guy with bravado, who everyone else in the SEC if not a lot of CFB hate his stinkin guts.Do you mean to imply Vince is a promotional kind of guy?
Yeah I don’t know. I never saw Levis play before here. That sounds like Levis at PSU, so who knows..
I expect a fake double-flea-flicker, and hook-and-lateral, and in the midst of the confusion, our tailback sneaks for a 4 yard gain!Yawn, Vince will be calling run after run after jet sweep with Mark stoops and Eddie gran in his ear
He has his detractors in the Jefferson County Community College.Yup! And I love it. Love that UK has a guy with bravado, who everyone else in the SEC if not a lot of CFB hate his stinkin guts.
I don't think Hogan will play a snap.Three quarterbacks on the team, four quarters.
Give each a quartet and the most successful gets 4th quarter duty.
They are on their third string QB, and had pitiful results with their first string QB.What kind of offense does Iowa mount, they are in worse shape than us.
Wasn't that the first play called against South Carolina?I expect a fake double-flea-flicker, and hook-and-lateral, and in the midst of the confusion, our tailback sneaks for a 4 yard gain!
I predict lots of running back up the middle into stacked boxed for little gain. Probably both sides all game. What kind of offense does Iowa mount, they are in worse shape than us.
Why do you think he was done dirty?I would like to see Sheron get a true shot. He was done dirty in the USCjr game
Lotsa Jutahn McClain up the middle 🤢I predict lots of running back up the middle into stacked boxed for little gain. Probably both sides all game.
Afraid so! On 1st & 2nd down, leaving us in permanent 3rd & 7 or 8.Lotsa Jutahn McClain up the middle 🤢
That was what we heard early on from our resident Iowa fan. My point is we are in better shape offensively than they are. I really hope we can get the win, it would help take a bit of the sting out of this season. 8 wins sounds much better than 7 wins. They are on their third string QB, and had pitiful results with their first string QB.
In short, for the season, they looked a lot like they did in the last bowl, but with less production.
This is what it should be. No complex looks. Either quick slant/out, screen, or a 2 read route tree w key down the sideline and brown running post or dig.Afraid so! On 1st & 2nd down, leaving us in permanent 3rd & 7 or 8.
Maybe the thinking is both qbs will struggle to find a passing option on 3rd & long, but Wade will be better/faster using his feet to try and scrambling make a 1st down. Hell I don't mind if the passing playcall is drop back, check Barion, check Key, then take off running if both aren't free.
He must be a hard worker. Sheron was the clear starter for the SC game but in the weeks after when they were putting out the depth chart Wade had seemingly jumped ahead or equal to Sheron. Sounds like as the season progressed, he asserted himself. The QB(s) of the future should get a good amount of snaps. Wade is just a frosh, but reports suggest he is a very hard worker. He and his brother appear to have entered UK well prepared. Kudos to their family and HS coaches/trainers. They came to compete and win.
