At least six players on Tennessee's 2014 football roster – Michael Williams, A.J. Johnson, Von Pearson, Riyahd Jones, Marlin Lane and an unnamed player – have been accused of sexual assault.

Williams and Johnson were both allegedly involved in a November sexual assault of another University of Tennessee student athlete. Williams was indicted on charges of aggravated rape, while Johnson was named a suspect. Jones, Lane and Pearson were all named as suspects in separate cases, but none have been prosecuted and no arrests were made.

This is relevant to Kentucky football, how? 135 schools across the nation are under investigation. Though UT and Vanderbilt are among those 135, I am not aware that Kentucky is one of them.

I guess because they are an sec school, border rival, poaches recruits when they can, any thing that can bring them down a notch and us up a notch and we had a student athlete be accused last year of a sexual assault and kicked out of school and then no charges were filed.

I think it is a little relevant, just a pinch.

Vanderbilt actually had students rape a girl and it still didn't help anyone beat them. It took Derek Mason for that.

A despised border and conference rival known for a win at any cost attitude and skirting/ignoring rules, guidelines and laws getting investigated by an organization that has real power and less susceptible to being bought off sounds pretty relevant to me...

Did he end up at UT Chattanooga? I feel like I read that somewhere. I'm trying to remember if he ever even played at Tennessee, he probably wishes he had picked UK instead.

Because UT is a low down, dirty program, and I plain don't like them. They also happen to be one of our bitter SEC East rivals. Watching that program burn would bring me to tears. Happy Happy tears.

Hate to break it to you but UK and UT are not rivals. Also being accused of some sexual assault is BS now days. Just like the UK player that was kicked off, it's a 50/50 chance he was innocent but now his life is ruined. The only way your gonna get this to stop is charge the accuser with something if they make false accusations.

Just so superior aren't you?

So since UK and UT aren't rivals it's OK for your football team members to rape?

I would like to see a link to 135 schools are under investigation for sexual assaults committed by their football team. That seems like a random number you come up with. Of course a sexual assault conviction, not accusation, to a cousin with a plunger isn't enough to keep UT from recruiting and signing a kid, so it isn't surprising UT is on the list of ever how many it really is.

Filing a false police report is a crime but because a report is filed and the accused is either not indicted or not found guilty doesn't make it a "false report". Something happening and proving what happened are totally different animals. I just took a big dump about 15 minutes ago but can't prove it. Nobody else was in the bathroom and all of the evidence has been flushed away.
Also, if you want to charge the accuser with a crime, you will have to prove that the crime occurred. In most of these cases including Tubman's case at UK there is no question that the couples have had sex. The question is if it was consensual... unless you have a camera and audio of the encounter, that's a tough nut to crack.

Before you accuse someone of something you don't know anything about, you might want to do a little research. Not surprised at all though coming from a Georgia fan.

"Only 13 at the time, Hood didn't know how to react and stood there and watched in his bedroom as a 17-year-old friend, Robert Sanico, raped Hood's 14-year-old first cousin with a foreign object after she had been tied up with duct tape by both Sanico and Hood, according to the victim's testimony.

"I witnessed a brutal rape that I'm guilty of not being able to stop," said Hood, his eyes ripe with remorse. "I didn't participate in it, but I was in the room. I was there … and I didn't stop it."

We had one player compared to the 6 at UT. 1 02 two you may have a point but 6! You got a problem and it should be handled but typical UT fan reaction.

Give me one player that has been convicted of rape on Tenn team. I guess you don't believe in innocent until proven guilty.

I would have to search it up, don't act like you don't remember it was national news, he held his cousin down while his friend raped her with a plunger. He wasnt accused, he was convicted, in Kiffin's class. I realize you like to dream that class didn't take place considering it had at least one rapist and the armed robber who was the steal from Louisanna. I have my facts straight, if you been a fan of UT long enough you know I do and everyone here probably remembers it. But he was one of those good ole Tennessee boys, so it was ok right, just like the half dozen being investigated now are ok if they can block, run, tackle, throw or catch.

It took me a few minutes, mostly because when I typed in UT signee a convicted rapist I got over 8 million hits I guess. But check your 2009 class for a kid who went to Catholic High School and see how many names you come up with. Facts straight.

Read the post above where I took the story from ESPN.

I'm still waiting on them convection facts that I asked for. That is if you believe in innocent until proven guilty.

A lot of East Tennesseans are talking about UT's announcement Tuesday that Catholic High School football player Daniel xxxx will join the Volunteers next season.

Some see the move as controversial because of xxxx's juvenile conviction on charges of kidnapping and aggravated rape.

That's pretty clear to me. He was convicted of kidnapping and aggravated rape and UT took him, 13 and didn't know what to do but still smart enough to get admitted to UT at 18.
You still trying to say it didn't happen? You asked who was the rapist UT had and here he is.

C'mon Grumpy, don't confuse them with facts. They aren't use to them.

But it ain't what you think it is. If it was, you would have won an SEC championship by now. Granted, UK isn't close in football, either. But, we know how it mus feel, because we keep winning in basketball.
Good lord. One has nothing to do with the other. Embarrassing...

I'd be more shocked if at least one UT football player was not under investigation for something.

While the Grand Jury that has professionals looking at the evidence couldn't come up with an indictment of Tubman the UK board still kicked him out of school and pretty much short circuited his career. And it seems that their main concern might have been the same as yours, that he might rape someone else and UK could get sued, how stupid would he have to be to get in that situation again, he has already paid a heavy price once.

With the San Diego man winning his case looks like a bigger concern might be Tubman suing UK, which I hope he does and win, because that would probably only happen if he were innocent to start with.

Well, hate to break it to you but UT and Bama and UT and UF aren't rivals either.

Beat them in a decade(which we have UT) then come talking about rivals.

Did the Vol fan disappear after Grumpy's come back??? :boxing: [jumpingsmile] [smoke]
No I'm still here. Laughing because I asked for someone to name a player on Tennessee's team who has been convicted of rape. The Ga fan has to go back to 2003 to find a boy that was 13 at the time and he didn't rape the female. Aggravated rape has a wide range of possibilities. His was watching while someone else did it. A far cry from doing it yourself. If you don't think their is a big difference between the mental state of a 13 and a 18..... Never mind forgot you're an Georgia fan. Delusion runs rampant Down there.
