They were charged with 15 level 1 violations and many included current players. They didn’t even get a slap on the wrist. Money talks.
Nothing a few mason jars full of shine cant settle. They just got their notice of allegations in July. The case hasn't been settled.
All of that staff is gone, and the majority of the players are gone. We self imposed a lot of scholarship restrictions, so we feel like we held ourselves accountable. They were charged with 15 level 1 violations and many included current players. They didn’t even get a slap on the wrist. Money talks.
The staff is gone because they sucked, not because they cheated. You're still openly violating NIL rules and are one of the dirtiest programs around. All of that staff is gone, and the majority of the players are gone. We self imposed a lot of scholarship restrictions, so we feel like we held ourselves accountable.
Half of this board wants to cheat and be just like them.Wow, TN and cheating...woulda thunk it?!
UT administration reported the violations so they could fire Brick by Brick without buy out his contractThe staff is gone because they sucked, not because they cheated. You're still openly violating NIL rules and are one of the dirtiest programs around.
You're thinking about The Champion of Life. Conehead was the one cheating.UT administration reported the violations so they could fire Brick by Brick without buy out his contract
For FIFTEEN Level 1 voluations? That's laughable that you think all should be square and handled. All of that staff is gone, and the majority of the players are gone. We self imposed a lot of scholarship restrictions, so we feel like we held ourselves accountable.
Held yourself accountable yet 2 years later your #1 in the polls. Got it cheater. All of that staff is gone, and the majority of the players are gone. We self imposed a lot of scholarship restrictions, so we feel like we held ourselves accountable.
Don't forget Kansas winning a title in 2009 with an ineligible player in Darrell Arthur and Auburn winning a football title with Cam Newton who they also bought. The moral of the story is to cheat and win because the NCAA doesn't care.....well except for U of L. 🤣We'll your'e right....skirting the rules is how you do it.
- Kansas is ridiculous to get a b-ball Natty with all that was in their backyard
- UNC basically was caught red handed with fake classes and walk away with a Natty in b-ball as well
- TN not only cheated in football but also got to fire their coach w/o a buyout (as if Pruitt was successful he'd have gotten fired for cheating).
- Auburn beats us in elite 8 with an assistant coach being fired for FBI wire taps in the fold
Etc...so long story short....cheat and build up your program (and if you get caught...then you'll only get a wrist slap). NCAA is a toothless organization. This is why Mitch being so silly on NIL and stuff like suspending CRod and Jordan Wright makes no sense.
Pretty much lol the talking heads don’t care , the fans don’t care , the playoff committee doesn’t care . The only people who do are apparently the people who use righteous indignation as a excuse for losing . You can’t cheat if there are no rules just those you make up to support your own position. They were charged with 15 level 1 violations and many included current players. They didn’t even get a slap on the wrist. Money talks.
Better example is Kansas basketball proved cheating is OK as it brought them an NCAA title last spring and in the end, their HC has to sit out a measly 4 regular season games to start this season. You think that was worth the gamble? Turns out it was ingenious. They were charged with 15 level 1 violations and many included current players. They didn’t even get a slap on the wrist. Money talks.
Shows how things have changed. When Mumme was caught cheating UK did all the stuff your clan did....and more. Fired the coaches, reduced scholarships, pretty sure they took a bowl ban. So what does the NCAA do? Accepted UK's self-imposed punishments and ADDED to the number of scholarships taken away, may have even added another year to the bowl ban. Wasn't any crying over "punishing innocent players", it was just tough shit. Players involved in the cheating transferred to other schools, at least one, Montreal Jones, ended up at.....TN. I'm hoping, after the UNC, Kansas, U6, TN fiasco that UK starts cheating like a MFer.All of that staff is gone, and the majority of the players are gone. We self imposed a lot of scholarship restrictions, so we feel like we held ourselves accountable.
NCAA is a figurehead, whatever it takes to win I am 100% ok w it. Just win baby, it’s all that matters !!
Cornbread. You're thinking about The Champion of Life. Conehead was the one cheating.
Wrong staff. Brick by brick was butch JonesUT administration reported the violations so they could fire Brick by Brick without buy out his contract
Baloney. Last year they were top bidders at a certain Marietta Georgia HS with Auburn.Wrong staff. Brick by brick was butch Jones
God knows Kentucky never cheated in basketballWow, TN and cheating...woulda thunk it?!

Yep I got off track. They had like 5. Coaches in 8 yearsWrong staff. Brick by brick was butch Jones
Pruiett’s staff was just really bad at the same things that all other schools were doing, and got caught. Now everything they did is called NIL.
What NIL rules are they violating? The staff is gone because they sucked, not because they cheated. You're still openly violating NIL rules and are one of the dirtiest programs around.
They are violating the inducement rule. They are using NIL to induce recruits. Boosters paying/buying recruits with NIL deals is still a violation. What NIL rules are they violating?
The university didn’t even endorse any NIL companies until yesterday when the NCAA said it was ok to. NIL deals can be offered to recruits as long as it is not through the school and the coaches and university aren’t offering the deal. You have first hand knowledge Danny white or plowman or heupel offered deals to recruits? They are violating the inducement rule. They are using NIL to induce recruits. Some how the QB in California was offered 8 million dollars by someone several months ago. Lol maybe that is who offered him the money. That’s still an alleged amount but I’d bet it’s close to accurate. He’s never said to my knowledge what endorsements he has to do to get that money. Every school nearly has a collective on the side doing this stuff now. Even Saban got up and said his team needed that too to his boosters. He was vague and a lot of alluding but he was talking about it. It’s an arms race at this point. Kentucky needs to do it too and I get the frustration with your ad and university if they seem to not to want any part of it. They are gonna have to or they will harm your athletics greatly. This is the reality we live in today. Honestly I am for nil and athletes being able to capitalize off of it (I know most Kentucky fans will say it’s because it’s benefiting my team and that is partially it but not all of it). Other schools have been doing their stuff behind the scenes for years and years to get players like Tua’s family loving to Tuscaloosa from Hawaii of all places and on and on. College football had become a 4 or 5 team championship and it was ruining football when those teams could stack 5 stars 4 deep or more at every position and were just dominating everyone else. This stops some of that. Those schools were getting away with way more than everyone else. The NCAA had turned a blind eye to bama, Ohio state, clemson and many more. In 4-5 years or so a lot of this will balance out and if a school chooses to embrace it and go with it they can have a legit shot at competing again with the top schools. Football is better when any school can win every Saturday. It flat out sucks going into every season knowing bama and Georgia already have the sec wrapped up and the rest of us don’t matter. It dukes knowing the playoff 4 before season even kicked off. Hopefully nil makes it much more balanced because as a fan I was done watching anything other than my team and even that was hard to do with much more than casualness because I knew we had no chance anymore. I want Kentucky and Arkansas and South Carolina and all the schools in the sec to be able to compete and make it enjoyable and exciting to watch their teams play and know they have a real chance to win any gameSome how the QB in California was offered 8 million dollars by someone several months ago.
