She will be a candidate but knowing Mitch, probably will go after an Assistant coach from a Power 5 program.

I have zero confidence that Mitch will interview any well known coaches. After Demoss left there were several highly regarded coaches interested in the jobs & he didn’t even interview them.

You're exactly right there is no reason with the resources and facilities we have for basketball that are women basketball teams can't compete and win I love to see juli fulks get that chance she has proven she can win at the national level hell who knows she may not want it but mitch can't get anybody that's better this coach can flat out coach her record proves it

Do you think she is too much of a disciplinarian… coming from Pat Summitt … who was tough in that regard?

Discipline from a HC doesn’t fly much these days with players.

I wondered at the beginning of the season when she said she wanted a smaller in numbers roster.

I dont think that's it although I do think she is tougher than some. I cant really put my finger on it, I think she wants to keep the style that Mitchell has and play frenetic and fast, pressing etc, but that hasn't worked and it doesnt look like they have the players to do that or that the ones they do have are bought into playing that way. They just look really out or sorts to me.

Her hire was logical , and the fact Mitchell quit just a month before the first game that yr it was almost necessary. A big issue is developing players , then having them go into the portal right after tasting some success and being in some demand. It’s happened every year, and likely will after this yr. They were 2-14 in the league last yr …I think she has to improve on that to be brought back next yr. I think they only have one so-so recruit for 2024.
