Why was he out there?

At this point, if Almanor can keep hitting the open 3, he’s more valuable at the PF spot than Carr. Even when Carr is healthy again, I don’t want to see him get the bulk of the minutes at that position.

Agree. Carr passed up too many open shots. Almonor doesn’t have that problem, dude’s a gunslinger. Good passer too… has some good vision. I really like his game. He’s a bit of a trash talker too and so is J-Rob and it was in full effect tonight! Both those guys love shutting the road crowd up.

Yeah, this. It was a big game that UK needed, and he wanted to give it a go. Went to defend a drive and block a shot and at 6’10”, couldn’t get his hands up to the rim. Had to come out.

I think Almador starts the rest of the year and Pope subs in Carr to see how he's moving around.
He'll either play or sit based on that.
His back is not going to be completely healed in the timeframe of the season especially not practicing and playing twice a week.
Anything Carr can give us from this point forward is gravy IMO.

Well if he separated his shoulder there is a good chance he injured his labrum. Same thing happened to me. Big loss of stability and a lot of pain in raising arm.

Depending on severity it can be really debilitating.

The injuries are demoralizing, but it's extraordinary that these guys are still battling. They don't have the persona of a team that has been decimated by critical injuries.
