Gillispie. Sheesh, what a train wreck.
His hiring was maybe the biggest "miss" by an AD in the history of AD misses.

Also worth noting, UNC Wilmington was picked #2 in their conference behind only Charleston. KenPom currently has them the favorites to win it. They have some really good players, especially their wing Trazarien White.
Really love how we are playing some higher quality non-P5 opponents this season.
- St. Joes will compete in the A-10
- Penn will be a contender in the Ivy League
- UNC Wilmington is currently the favorite to win the CAA
- Illinois State is middle of the road in the MVC
It may seem silly on the surface, but this kinda stuff matters in the NET rankings.

I think UC taking Satterfield off UL’s hands was worse. Real head scratcher. Gillispie at least had a little success at A&M.
Yeah, the cupcakes seem few and far between this year. These teams all seem to be contenders in their leagues. That will be good when it comes time for seeding.
