If they have another mediocre year next season will the UNC fans be calling for Roy's head? Would winning 3 dirty titles keep him safe despite having 3 bad to mediocre seasons in a row?
I say no - not in today's immediate gratification environment... kids today care nothing about - even resent - tradition. He's old guard and dying on the vine anyway - so no IMO.

Roy needs to find him a real nice beach house in Wilmington and enjoy the fruits of his labor.

Yes, with the Transfer Portal now in play, losing players might mean gaining players. The thing I wonder about with most of these transfers is if they were so great why transfer? It could be a Juzang type of situation but similar to most of the High School recruits until they get out on the court it is hard to determine exactly how they will perform. I have seen a few comments about a Florida player who shot 40% with 3's. However, his playing time was limited? Why? Plus, let's say after his transfer he gets major minutes will that expose his deficiences, percentages going down, etc?
