He might learn to like drawing up plays and coaching.
Everytime Reeves lets it go you just feel like it’s going in. Like that quick release. Smooth scorer playing with confidence and has improved immensely defensively.
Yeah I know but he wasn’t terrible. He kept it moving though. He can’t overcome his limitations but he can find some ways to work around them
Yes and no. Different game as it takes some of their quickness away.
That's my biggest complaint. With Wheeler. He can't guard at all. Can't win in March with both Wheeler and Oscar together on the court. And obviously Oscar has to be on the court.
He did and I’ll give him credit for that. I know if this 2nd half gets going and if he starts to play a lot of mins he’s good in small doses but not very good in very large doses.
Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s coming down with something. My whole household just got over being sick..it’s pretty bad out there right now
Am at game Frederick just getting abused on defense. UK playing hard, Oscar has been fouled about 5 times and not called. Wallace really struggling with his outside shot. Reeves is a pure scorer
Wheeler has to play some because of Dores smaller quicker lineup.

Let the other 4 play defense if it means CJ gaining confidence on his shooting. As for defense, did you see some of the crap pulled by Oscar. Oscar was just standing around knees locked allowing a player with half his skills easily drive around him for a score.
we only turned things around recently. it comes with it. we weren’t a tournament team two weeks ago.
Yea, I agree. In small doses you can limit how much he drives in to the paint and leaves himself little to no room of making a pass or getting up a shot. Over 30 minutes he does it 10 damn times.
What’s up with his refusal to develop Thiero? He does this every year with a player and then we get in a game where injuries or foul trouble forces them into duty with little to no experience. Is he that stupid or does he have a mental disorder?
I don't think we have anybody that can play good defense on a good ball-handler with quickness. It is a weakness.
He plays in a couple of games and then in a few straight games he’s gets DNP’s . I straight up don’t understand it whatsoever!

You seem to complain a lot let’s cheer the team on we are a head. If we start losing complaining would be ok.

Just went through a bout of COVID that almost killed me. Had to stay in a hotel for four days to keep away from my family. Was awful. And I’m vaxxed/boosted. Seriously rough.
They just kicked Kentuckys ass that night, Kentucky was beat the minute they stepped into the arena, play that game again Kentucky may lose but they aren’t getting punked and out efforted every play

It's a definite weakness. That's why a normal coach would mix in some zone. But no zone in the NBA so that's out.
Wheeler is the worst defender I've saw at UK guarding the ball. He is always in a sideways stance. Going for a steal is all the defense he knows.
