That felt like an ETERNITY when Gonzaga got that rebound and was going full court. Thank you Carr for getting your hand in there to knock the ball loose! What a win!

pope already winning the kind of games cal never could. in fact, we’d have been out against duke and gonzaga with stud talent.

Yeah first half sucked but some of these dudes had wrote Cats off before the game even started and then proceeded to put em down the whole game.
I’ll eat. Completely different team mentality in the 2nd half.

I feel like our defense won't get a lot of praise for this game but we clearly had the Zags out of sorts a lot in the second half. Refreshing to have a coach throw new defensive looks out there. Teams can't just keep spamming something that works against us.
And the good thing from a resume standpoint if you had to win one of these two games, winning the Gonzaga game would look much better than the Clemson one lol.

You optimistic SOB - looks like they did find away ! Same reason I kept watching too! I can understand the slow start, playing without their known point guard and then lose the backup too. Fun but nerve-wracking game, Like my Coach and team!

I agree. I even said embarrassing first half, it sucked. Whatever Pope said in 2nd half he needs to say that before the start of every game.

The first half concerns were warranted considering it was the third straight game this team has shown no first half life. It isn't about Pope; it is about the players. It is time for some real gut check by some, especially Williams.
