UK target Skyy Clark organized a group to clean up graffiti done by vandals

Well he’s off to a better start than Devin Askew, who is currently going nuts on Instagram calling Trump a DA and responding to followers calling them out. Not your typical look from a UK player SMH. Good for this kid.
I am probably just speaking for myself, the kid is 18 years old and by definition cannot be the sharpest knife in the drawer. We were all the same way at that age. To me, there is a difference about what a guy does on instagram or Facebook and what he displays at a game. I really hope we never get to the place where if we go to a game we see him (or any other player) wearing a shirt, etc, in warm-ups saying cops are racist, American sucks, etc. Even if a person believes that, to force it down the throat of paying folsk/fans who in many cases disagree is not the place. I used to think we would never see it at a Kentucky game, but nowadays you can't be sure.

I am sure that 100% of us did things at that age...that was not going to please everyone. and we don't know any of these kids real situations of their families or peers. It is difficult to judge poorly on any kid, but darn easy to see good character.

I'm OK with anyone having a opinion, even if it is counter to mine. But, it isn't enough to just say "F%&@ Donald Trump". That isn't an opinion. That's a statement. You can turn it into a opinion but, you had better show me a reason you believe what you do. That is, if you want to be taken seriously.
I feel like a lot of people (especially kids) on social media just want to be included. So they spout off stuff they've heard or seen others say. No real reason for it other than they saw (fill in the blank) say it. So, they jump on board.
That comes from being young and inexperienced. It's also indicative of how we have become a society obsessed with social media and the perceived fame that goes with it.

hey, bill....you not I'm not a "you people" kinda guy...hope that was sarcasm.... I apologize, if "you people" was inferred in my context; that was not the intent.

aside, my friend (and he is also one of my son's coaches) gave such a great and heartfelt prayer after practice this morning...he is a great role model for all the kids. My boy just doesn't see color at all, because of guys like him. and I try to be better every day...
No! You and I are great, man. I was agreeing with you, on what you were saying in response to dancat. I'm sorry my sarcasm wasn't clear. It's one of my faults on this board. I should stop trying to use it. It just doesn't come across in written form.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I would get on my kids for saying something like that on social media. I get tired of getting on my 14 year old daughter as it is for posting inappropriate Tik Tok videos and make her delete them. With social media being used against people these days I try to get her to understand that once you put something out there for the world to see it is likely there to stay. I would hope most parents would hold their kids accountable.
Its crazy how far some people will go too to find something to shame someone about. Digging through years of social media posts to find one negative thing, and usually its at an age, such as 14, where people just arent socially aware of the long term ramifications it potentially could have. I feel blessed to have grown up in an era without social media for the most part. The thought of having to police your kids for fear of them saying something stupid, that quite frankly any ignorant kid might think or say, is sorta sad that society is becoming that way. The phrase “he/she is just being a kid” really doesnt exist anymore.

Amen, and I still couldn't care less about social media. Life's to short for me to worry about any daily random brain farts.

don't follow them then. You all are for it when you agree, but whine when someone has a different opinion. I’m glad these kids are using their voice. Let me guess, you want him to “shut up and dribble”. Basketball players are more than athletes, they’re humans, and they have a voice too.
Nah. That's what libs do.

Well to be fair his latest tweets are pretty dumb and divisive.
