Listen, UK went out and cherry picked 9 stud upperclassman and they are basically 9 mercenaries on a mission to win #9 for Kentucky.

The AP pollsters were either not hip with the pay for play times or they were just hating.

If the cats can sweep out November they’ll probably be top 12ish, so 3 seed.

December’s record will dictate the seed line as the SEC might devour itself once conference play begins. I’m not expecting a one seed but a 2 or 3 would really benefit the team obviously.

Because they were a hodge podge of upperclassman studs with a HC that won at #7 Kansas with “BYU” and also beat 3 other ranked teams last yr.

Your all time prediction was in 2021 that if Kentucky beat Mississippi State they were going to win the national championship. That was really special. It was so special that you could spend the next 5 years getting every game correct and still would not remove the egg from your face from that.

This is what I've been saying on this board, well not #1, but about #10. And so many on this board kept saying no we aren't that talented, no we have no returning players, no we have a coach that's never won anything.

To summarize the reasons I kept saying why we should be ranked higher:
- every team is rebuilding in this era, I doubt you can find more than 5 of the top 25 teams who return half of their top 8 from last year, many like Duke return only 1-3 guys. And Robinson is a returning player to Pope.
- Garrison, Carr, Oweh, Robinson, Kriisa ALL were key players at P5 schools, 4 of them coming from the #1 conference last year
- Butler was a key player on a national runner-up, he even hit the game winning shot in the semi-final game
- Brea was the #1 (qualified) 3pt shooter in the nation last year
- Pope did not win big, but he won, he won more than what had been or should be done at those schools
