UK Plate in South Carolina

Guys,

This was finally launched for those UK fans that would like to donate to the SC Alumni Association in order to get a UK themed SC license plate. A total of $6,800 needs to be raised in order to get this plate accomplished.

A portion of the fees collected for this plate will be distributed to the University of Kentucky for scholarships.

You don't have to live in SC to donate. It would definitely help if the BBN could get behind this initiative!

We are having the same trouble in Georgia trying to get a UK plate. I sent in $50 and have not heard anything since. That was months ago. Good luck in getting the tag.

Tennessee, Clemson, Auburn, Alabama, FSU and others have tags in Georgia but UK does not have enough fan interest to make it happen. So far, maybe soon, I sure hope

That plate looks amazing. If I wasn't a poor college student then I'd donate. Wish the UK plate here in KY looked that good.

It is funny that UK plates produced in other states look nicer than the ones in Kentucky. Who in the world designs these for UK?

Also why not put out several tags. For example a basketball tag that has all 8 championships. Or a UK football tag. Other states do that.

I have found that odd. I don't know why they don't do it, though. In SC, USC has their standard plate, but then they also have one comemmorating their baseball National Championships.
