Is reminiscient of some of our deepest teams: '96 and '15 just to name a couple. It has to be demoralizing to the opponent to look up at the 16" mark when they're starting to feel a little winded and see Rob, Reed and Adou--3 of the highest energy guys on the team--waiting at the table to check in. Now add Ugo as well and we're as deep w/ quality players as we've ever been. That doesn't even mention Z, Burks and Hart, who are all players in their own right. If Z becomes available, and is the player his highlights seem to indicate he is, I don't see how Cal doesn't go w/ some form of a platoon. That's 10 guys who would start for 85% of teams out there.

I’ve seen others mention the strategy of the the 96 team, and I agree with them.

The 96 team didn’t “platoon” even though they went just as deep, and the minutes were distributed similar to a platoon system, which allowed guys to still play all out while they were in. That also allows all the guys to get comfortable playing with everyone else.
