Good news for UK. win that game and highlights of the win going nonstop the rest of the day
Hate it for those wanting to party in the Grove, but this is actually MUCH BETTER for the team. 11 AM for them definitely takes away from the home field advantage.

Was at that game too. We walked the grove before the game. Offered food and beer by most every tailgate.
1. Feels best to play as early as possible on road games....but is there any evidence to back that up
- Both Florida road wins were night games
- Tennessee road game was day game
- All the USC road wins have been night games
- I don't remember the Mizzou wins as day or night games....
- I think the Covid year we open at Auburn at noon and didn't play well..nor win
I just don't think there is evidence that noon road games are easier to win

Instead they get to pick the 2nd pick as noon. So your 2nd best game kicks at noon (11 am for over half the SEC TV sets). The 3:30 should be first, 7pm ESPN second and 6pm SEC Network game third and then the noon 4th best game. ESPN is just a loser network going forward....I wish SEC would jump off that bus now.

The latter sounds similar to A&M- No doubt 11 Am sucks but I know if UK was the home team we’d just start the tailgate that much earlier.

This is large part of why ESPN is more Entertainment than it is over Sports as their mission. ESPN + is a total bend over to fans for no reason. When watching basketball games the split screen focuses more on guest speakers than actual players on court. ESPN.com...leads with WNBA highllghts (like women shooting lay ups is amazing to watch).
I hate the thought we're tied to ESPN....they are pretty bad at sports now a days.

Arguably one of the top 3 games of the entire College Football schedule that day. I'm guessing this means the Alabama/Arkansas game got the 3:30 slot and likely the College gameday visit. OK St. and Baylor is about the only other decent game that day.
edit: just checked there are just 4 games with both teams ranked. NC St. & Clemson being the other.

Agreed....but that company has changed a ton in past 10 years....politics aside. They are not entertaining to me. Given the reality about 2k people show up to a WNBA game....not much entertaining happening with ESPN

If you go to the ESPN app, go to college football then go to on demand you should be able to find it. You can watch the Youngstown State game right now. I am not sure how long after it takes after the game to get there.

If Alabama vs Texas can kickoff at 12:00...Ole Miss and Kentucky can. Ohio St and Michigan have a noon kickoff.

Yeah, especially when he's talking about such a notoriously apolitical media entity such as ESPN. Since ESPN does such a marvelous job of separating sports and politics, I agree that any discussions regarding ESPN should follow suit! With that said, I will agree that the noon game time has nothing to do with anything political. It's a bummer in its own right, but it happens to all teams at times.
