Uh oh. Huggy Bear busted for another DUI

Man, a lot of you are throwing hate words towards him. I don’t really care who he is as a person. If alcohol is controlling his life I hope he gets help. Having lost a close family member to it, I can tell you it’s hard to watch. It really is a sickness which some never overcome.
With all due respect, trying to make some here feel guilty isn't the answer. This has become a pattern with Huggins, to the point that after the recent radio interview, some laughed and chalked it up to him just being drunk on air (an assumption by a few). No one is saying he shouldn't get help, but he's an old man who has gotten chance after chance, and quite frankly, the university probably should've let him go after his recent public slurs. Some get one or two chances and that's it. Others get countless opportunities. He needs to go away, fix whatever he's dealing with, and in general, make better choices.

Yeah as a former addict myself this breaks my heart. Dude obviously is an alcoholic and needs help. He has all the resources in the world though, it's sad people continue to enable him and let him continue like this.....he needs to hit rock bottom.

Fire him, take his job and income, maybe that will be a rock bottom that prompts him to seek treatment. As bad as I feel for him, again no excuses though when you have resources. Hire a driver, go to any rehab, therapy, he has unlimited options for help. Hope he gets it before he kills someone with his drunk driving ignorance.

Immediate termination is the only option here. Dude isn't learning, at all.

I can give two craps about comments on a podcast. The DUI problem is serious though considering his history. Huggins may need to hit rock bottom before he finally gets the help he needs and makes some changes.
Wasn't on a podcast.

West Virignia needs to go back to being part of VA. That state will literally become a wasteland in 50 years if they don't.

Boy are you wrong.. lol I live in West Virginia now and I couldn’t even get inside Walmart today from all the tourist. Then when the new road that connects Northern WV to Southern gets completed, it’s predicted the area where I live will explode with businesses similar to Gatlinburg. I live a mile from the New River Gorge Bridge if you’re wondering. It just became a National Park 2 years ago and it’s already unbearable in most places from so many people. It’s easily the most beautiful state of them all. Don’t judge the whole state by a few drunks. 😉

Sad really. But he's done. He was already on "probation" so to speak with the radio incident and now this less than a couple months later.

No way he should be back.

That being said, I hope he gets help, sobers up, and enjoys his remaining years.

Yikes, .21 at 8:30p....really hope he leaves and gets some help.

This coupled with previous DUI and his comments on 700 wlw point directly to alcoholism.

Grew up in Charleston, moved in 99. Very depressing to go back to, place is a complete dump now. The town center is basically a homeless shelter. Very sad.

You need to be about 40-50 miles south of there. That is if you like the outdoors. Charleston and Huntington are both drug infested dumps. Most people fail to look past that and judge the whole state by those 2 places. Lexington and Louisville are bigger cities but are the same way.

Not exactly! Talking without a clue must be a hobby of yours.. 😂

I actually really like Huntington, except for the smell. Charleston is a bit rough. Morgantown was ok. Barboursville was ok. Outside of those areas the state is pretty damn poor and there’s very little opportunity. Beautiful country, but I’m not a fan of the roads.

My wife is from Parkersburg, we go back often. It’s fine. Martinsburg and Morgantown are the only 2 cities that are growing. I guess it sounds like Fayetteville is too according to your post. That’s about it.

Innocent until proven guil....ah, who are we kidding. I'm sure he was fit-shased.

You haven’t been to Southern, WV and it shows. Huntington is infested with drugs and prostitutes, same for Charleston. God awful places. Sounds like you’re a city boy tho so you wouldn’t like it in my neck of the woods. Tourist from all over the world agree with me that my part of the state puts Huntington, Charleston and Morgantown to shame.

Time to load up on WV players to fill out the roster. They won't even have to move that far.

Cal will probably fail to get any, but it's what he needs to do.

Oak Hill, Fayetteville, Beckley and Summersville are all growing and will continue to do so. Just google it, millions of tourist yearly.

Also, I make pretty good money in these mountains! 🤷‍♂️ I’d take a pay cut to stay out of the city, tho. I make better money here than I have anywhere I’ve lived including Lexington.

Yeah, but the driving part is inexcusable.

Ya'll can keep talking West Virginia up. Mississippi, WV, Arkansas are on my list of places I don't need to visit again, lol.
