That might work if Georgia was out of timeouts. I think you have to take the touchdown while you have it when they had all 3 plus the 2 minute don’t call it a warning.

terrible play calling. They didn’t need to be throwing that deep, they still had two timeouts they could have run or go over the middle. You don’t need it all now. Awful.

Has there ever been a year where 2 teams have played each other 3 times? They could easily meet again in the SEC championship game and the playoffs.

Definitely had a good chance to just keep moving the ball there.
Only real concern I can think of is not wanting a short field (but that had not been a problem previously (other than 2PAs)).
Have to beat UT in Athens and then split at Texas and at ole miss. 10 and 2 playoff lock. Probably the 5 seed as well of theu do that and don't make sec title game. 12 seed cupcake and then neutral field quarterfinals
