Did you hear what J. Williams said about Wagner and the transfer portal? Ridiculous example... like he hopes that D.J. becomes unhappy and transfers to UL.

Williams was basically talking about teams going after players that spurned them initially while recruiting (like D.J. going to UK and not UL), and then he said that with all the guards at UK he could see D.J. at some point thinking that UL would be a better option for him and going through the portal. Way of base, for one, but also said in a way that sounded like he had hope in his heart that it would happen. This after praising Bobby Knight earlier. Guy needs to go work for the ACC Network.

Yeah but they were also down 8 to Georgia the other night. Only ended up winning that game by 11. Definitely a winnable game

DJ Wagner will get literally every minute he wants at Kentucky. If he asked for 36 he would get 36. If he took 10 3s a game and missed them all he would never be benched. If he still can’t perform and is unsatisfied then for god sake, yes, please transfer and don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

I’m speaking hypothetically in regards to what Jay Williams implied. I have no information and am not implying Wagner feels this way. I’m simply saying if anyone in DJ’s position is unsatisfied with literally being treated as the favorite son then, well, please let them move on.
