They are at least ten points better than us, and will improve greatly between now and then. Of course, UK will not. A few fans are realistic, but there are still some gems there.

Some quotes:

I still dont think they are all that good. They shot abnormally good and got the vast majority of the calls. With defensive experience witg development of the young players and team chemistry I want them again. Mango back..... PLEASE let us play them again early in the tourney.

I agree. We're the better team. Our recent record against them is embarrassing... a total joke. I want to play them as many times as possible until we freaking beat them!

They aren't that good. Played out of their minds....I want em in march

Play them outside of Rupp and we are 6+ points better than that team right now. By the end of the year and after getting Mangok back, I might say we're 10+ points better.

But for some odd reason they ALWAYS play LIGHTS FREAKIN OUT when they match up with us, happens every time.

They will need another dose of this afterwards.

They say that every year. They want to play us on a neutral court. That hasn't worked out for them. The year that KY went to the NIT, Louisville won. KY has sent them home the last few years when they played, the year they won it KY didn't play in the NCAA, it may have been a different outcome if they had to play KY. I don't think they really want to meet us again. Just fools talking.

UL fans don't want to play us again. Some state that because they know the actual chance of that is small. If we meet in March or April, they would be nervous as hell. Their loosing record is in their heads, the Cal streak in their heads, the two past NCAA match ups are in their heads. Deep down, they know they want to see UK on the complete opposite side of the bracket. Any UL fan that says they want UK again, is a complete liar .

Neither team is very good right now, but UK has the higher ceiling.

Is their any doubt, based on Cal's track record, that our Freshmen will improve and be way better by March?

They do get a boost from Mathiang returning, though. We would have Briscoe back, though.

I would almost bet the selection committee will put us together, though. Good for ratings.

Seriously U of L fans do not want a rematch, for we would embarrass them yet again. UK's upside is so much greater than theirs. They may have already peaked. It would be L1C9.

So Mango was hurt? He being their back up Center. How bout that Briscoe guy, I do believe that he is a starter. Those guys want us to send them to the house again? I am sure they would be glad to oblige

False bravado. How'd it work out for them the last two times they got their wish?

The selection committee cannot put us against them this year. We will be playing in Louisville and they can't play there. They will be an 8 or 9 seed at best and another first round out. It will be a looonngg time before we see them in the tournament again. NCAA punishment will set their program back at least ten years.

Of course they do till it happens lol !! Same ole story , we didn't play well they played out of their minds, well morons there is a reason for that , WE ARE BETTER THAN YOU !!

Gluttons for punishment? Nah,just False Bravado, like the kid you start kicking his butt and he cries to let him go and after he's out of reach starts bad mouthing again.
Kentucky will improve greatly by March and Little Brothel has pretty much peaked with their 25 year old ringers

I would actually hate to play them again. In the unrealistic chance they did beat us they would treat it as IU and hang on the victory in the tournament for many many years to come. I just dont want to deal with their sore attitudes win or lose. They want so bad to be able to say 'I told you so'

Don't wimp out. (Not calling you a wimp but everyone has those moments except me....)

All the tard fans wanna forget we played without Briscoe ... they even went as far to say "he wouldn't have mattered" to which I responded uhhh yes he would ... Lee isn't dropping that many points with Briscoe on him to which those derps replied with "Since when is Briscoe a defender" ... thats it. I'm done lmao.

With 2 seniors leading the way, they've hit the ceiling. Cats won't be the same in 2 weeks.

THIS.

What no one is talking about is the fact that Pimptino is making hay with the two best players on his team as SENIORS/GRADUATES that he didn't develop.

Someone else turned them into high level players, and now Pimptino is reaping the benefits, with a top twenty team based on another coach's hard work. IF Slick Rick had spent four years *developing* them on the UL squad, they'd either be completely ruined as players or trashed in their personal lives to where multiple suspensions would derail their collegiate careers.

The quality of UL is on the backs of players who escaped the destructive context of UL the last four years.

No one on the UL board would dare admit this.

The ceiling of UL is far lower than UK. And the ceiling of UL is not due to Pimpy, but to other hard-working coaches ripped out of a finished product.

It makes sense to me, in fact, if I were them I'd want ten more rematches this year in hopes we might find a huge stroke of luck and strike gold one time.

True story. When I was in Jr. High School c. 1978-79, I got in a fight with a kid named "Denny". I ended up sitting on top of him beating on him and finally had to stop and catch my breath. I had his arms pinned to the ground and was breathing heavily trying to regain my energy. He looked up at me, mouth bleeding and eyes swollen, and dead seriously says, "You give?"

This is a perfect metaphor for how uavel fans are today.

I think the game would be another war, and I would be nervous as hell, but there is no doubt who would come out on top.

Ha! Of course they're saying this. They say it EVERY year, without fail. It's all they've got!

And IF it does happen, they may not like the result. Consider...

1. Jamaal Murray played very poorly, but has the potential to score 20+ in any game.
2. Isaiah Briscoe didn't even play. He's arguably UK's best perimeter defender, one of its best ball handlers, and also its best at driving and finishing in the lane.
3. Skal Labissiere may have figured things out by March. He's the guy with the most potential on the team. But he was a non-factor.
4. A guy like Tai Wynyard could be playing significant minutes by March. He didn't play Saturday.

Truly, the Cards caught UK at about the best possible time.

Bottom line, though, who cares what these idiots say? This is all they've got. Why? Because UK won the game, plain and simple. It was another win for UK.
