I know the NBA is a sore subject here, and I’m a Sixers fan. But we really should be appreciating what Tyrese Maxey is doing in Philly.
Last night he returned after missing 4 games with a hip contusion. All he did was score 37 points, grab 9 rebounds and dish 11 assists against the Miami Heat in Miami. He speeds up Philly’s offense and that wears out opponents. Miami only scored 17 points in the 4th quarter and looked gassed at the end. He was the best player on the floor with three other Allstars playing.
He’s added a midrange game this year that is sick. Some really great ballhandling and shotmaking here:
