Not OP but I think he starts somewhere in the infield whether it's SS or 2B. Don't think we can afford to sit a talent like him with the way our roster looks at the moment, unless he comes in woefully unready

even guys like him don’t often get handed power conference pt opportunity out of the gate anymore… much less sec, but with a roster with holes and a solid amount of opportunity it allows some of these guys to envision a chance early. So you get to keep a guy like this that may not have gotten near the signing bonus offer he would’ve liked because they can get a little nil money to go along with possible early pt.
