Good coaches make tweaks during games, just like Pope talking about the way he wanted the guys to defend screens during that Duke game. He "tweaked" our defense and the 2nd half was much better. The best coaches don't have to use those kinds of excuses as to why the team lost a game. They don't have to make any announcements to increase anticipation from the fanbase about changes that will be coming. Good coaches don't need cutsie gimmicks to make the team better nor do they need to throw players under the bus to take the pressure off themselves. They just coach their team, expect growth and change from the players, as needed, and we all go there together without the nonsense.

Drove me crazy how any team that did a pick and roll just shot layups the whole game. Put a lot of blame on big O but all our big men were not taught how to hedge up and not let a guy go unimpeded for a layup!!
