I have a Roku streaming stick. You can buy one for about $50 at Walmart or pretty much anywhere that sells electronics. It's HDMI (plugs directly into an HDMI input) and you can get any ESPN online programming for free, if you have a decent internet speed. That's how I plan to watch Ottawa game, and all those that ESPN will show online. This way, you don't have to sit and watch it on your computer or a tablet or something.
According to KSR it will be on the SEC network.![]()
That's still saying SEC Network + which is online only.
On Friday, MJ was talking about the game is only going to be streamed. I didn't catch it all. Not sure if the game is going to be streamed on the SECNetwork or on WatchESPN.
Edit: The watchespn site has the game listed for the SECnetwork+ which is available thru watchespn.
If you have a computer running Windows 7 or above, with a HDMI connection and a tv with a HDMI connection, and a HDMI cable, you can try SlingTV. They have a 7 day free trial right now. After 7 days, it costs $20 for the basic channels and $5 more for the sports package which includes ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC network and access to WatchESPN.
You need an email address and a credit card. You won't be charged for the trial. I signed up yesterday and it worked perfectly for the football game last night. I have the lowest internet deal from TWC.
I have it running right now on my laptop with my desktop on the same internet connect.
There is a thread about SlingTV on the Rafters here.
The slingtv trial is here.
Thanks DeWayne. I'm sure watching the game on my desktop will be much better than on my 55" HDTV.DeWayne Peevy @UKDeWaynePeevy 44m44 minutes ago
#BBN, make sure you have everything in place to watch Monday's exhibition. THERE IS NO TV! Only available online - http://es.pn/1LYKolY
Great DeWayne, maybe I can have a party and we can all gather around my desktop instead of my HDTVPeevy confirms.

I'm betting if UK made enough noise they'd at least allow the UK Network stations to show it.It's not UK's fault, I believe you can blame ESPN/SEC Network.
Yup. I just bookmark it. I don't have cable so whenever I want to watch the cats, whether live or a replay, I just go there. So is it going to be available on here for free? Like the one guy who always posts the link for replays.
You don't need to free trial anything.
Just run a cable from your video card to your tv and use it as a second monitor. I did that years ago too play doom 3, well before sling tv was a thing.

You are correct. And when the SEC network came out I had directv. And I wasn't able to access the SEC through the ESPN app. So I changed to time Warner. Well guess what. Time Warner isn't a participating provider. That's my luck. HahaWouldn't matter what internet company you have. Access to games on WatchESPN, other than ESPN3 games, is entirely dependent on who your TV provider is.

So we can get BBM and the Blue/White game on national tv, but not an actual game. SEC Network is airing women's soccer tomorrow, solid business decision there.
Do we need to call ESPN or SEC Network or does it matter. I want to call somebody. Have a B/W practice on SEC Network but not a actually game. That is pitiful.Yeah I'll have some type of high quality restream of the SEC Network+ stream as well as a few links to others restreaming it--so you won't have to worry about any kind of provider restrictions with them.
If BBN calls and complains enough to ESPN and the SEC Network it still might be possible to get the game on one of the SEC Alternate TV channels... so I definitely recommend people calling.
I have got 3 SEC Network Channels. SECN which has Paul on in the afternoons. Then a SECAN that plays nothing most of the time. Then I have a 3rd SECN that NEVER has anything playing on it. What is the point?Hell, they are cutting 2.5 hours off the Finebaum show as well. NO WAY the SEC Women's Soccer Tourney gets bigger ratings than the Finebaum show (if I'm wrong I apologize to the ladies), and I see no way it would beat out UK vs. Ottawa due to UK fan interest either.

I tried to get people to start calling last week and complain to espn to get it changed......now the night before everyone wants to freak out about it the night before when it's probably too late. We made them change it last year for the blue white game. Had a chance to make or voice heard again, but it seems the fan base pissed the bed this yearI'm betting if UK made enough noise they'd at least allow the UK Network stations to show it.
