I wonder how long it’s going to be before the top talent talk to each other and decide where to go to form a “Super Team?” I’m talking about after their freshmen year. Future NBA talent that want to stay one more season.

It’s going to happen. And once it happens once, everyone will want to do it.

So Eaglestaff doesn’t even make the list?
A lot of great players ahead and many haven’t entered. We won’t know tho to really target for another 2 weeks IMO. Malik Reneau entered, he’s a hell of a post scorer but not a great defender or passer at least in Woodson shitty system. He is highly ranked though and a guaranteed producer at the Big 10 level.

Reneau would be a solid pick up.
Would definitely compliment Bailey from Davidson.
I don't think you can get too caught up in your 4 man shooting three's.
AA is like a 6'7 225 shooting guard, brings nothing else to the position.

Reneau averaged 13 points a game for a crappy IU team that needed scoring punch, he has no 3 point range, and he eventually got moved out of the starting rotation this season.

Yeah because 2 bugs didn’t work in that defensive scheme or offensive spacing. I’m not saying go get him. I do think he would be valuable somewhere else.

He averaged 15/6 last year, 13/5.5 this season for a bubble IU team.
That's pretty good production over a two year span and at 6'9 230 he has good positional size.
Paired with another 4 who has range, he would be a good get.
I don't know if the portal is going to produce much better players at his position this cycle.

Yeah it is any he only averages 22 minutes a game. He’s a big time scorer on the block. His main issue is that he’s a black hole when he gets the ball, doesn’t shoot well outside, and isn’t a great defender. If he improved those areas he would be a very good player. If he was a better rebounder I would play in at the 5.

I'd love to see the transfer threads all combined into one at this point. Especially when our season is still in the most important few weeks.

Maybe after the season would be a good time to have 5 Eaglestuff threads a day covering everything from his favorite brand of toothpaste to what he had for breakfast.

Technically the portal doesn't officially open until Monday, but it's interesting to see just how many players already know where they are going or have been reached out to. Sign of the times.

Tampering
Tampering doesn't exist because it doesn't have to. It's perfectly legal to use an agent as a go-between in these situations. Coaches can complain and yell "tampering" but there are absolutely no bylaws or regulations preventing it. And that's what's going on in nearly all of these situations.
