Not who you think were the best and worst players, but the Cats you loved the most and liked the least (doesn't matter the reason).

My top 5 favorite:

Oscar Tschiebwe - Dude just grabbed my heart the way he just loves Kentucky
Anthony Epps - Courage and emotion
Jeff Sheppard - True hero who helped us win on a bum leg
Jamal Mashburn - One of the best ever and a real tragedy he never won a title, just kept his head down and dominated
Terrence Jones - Heart of a lion, wore his feelings on his sleeve.

Top 5 least favorite:

Shaedon Sharpe - OK he's not technically a Cat, but still he was here and he must be listed since he's the worst ever
Michael Porter - Shouldn't have started one game and off the court issues
Daniel Orton - left before the end of the year and hurt our academics
Rashaad Carruth
Kahlil Whitney

Top 5:
1. John Wall
2. Gerald Fitch
3. AD
4 Jeff Sheppard
5. Derek Anderson

Least 5 favorite.
1. The Dragon KW
2. Daniel Orton
3. Carruth
4. Saul Smith
5. Shaedon Sharpe although I don’t consider him to be a Kentucky player he did everything a player does except play.

I think Cameron Fletcher was worse than Whitney personally

Favorite:

1. Jamal Mashburn - my first UK hero
2. Tony Delk - led UK to its first championship in my lifetime
3. Anthony Epps - gritty, tough, extremely underrated
4. Chuck Hayes - see above
5. MKG - always played hard, had a knack for being in the right place at the right time

Least favorite:

1. Michael Porter - total scrub and kid diddler to boot
2. Sharpe - Used us and contributed absolutely nothing
3. Rex Chapman - great player but embarrassed the program after his playing days and is in one of the two wackadoodle political cults, both of which I despise
4. Sheray Thomas - by all accounts a good dude, but played way too may minutes for his talent level
5. Rashaad Carruth - All around punk who never lived up to the hype outside of 1 game against Duke

Favs.

1. Delk - have a lot of experiences with him. Played near my hometown and in my high school gym, great guy, and the baller on my favorite team ever. Childhood hero.
2. Shep - Jeff is all blue. We know him and his wife a little, and went to their camps. Had a lot of memories with them and pretended to be him many years in my driveway.
3. Anderson
4. Hayes
5. Ford - First UK player I remember I’d die for
6. Knight / Mashburn / a few others.

Hard to put the first 2 in an order.

Least favorite

1. Sharpe
2. Boston
3. Orton
4. Thomas - nice guy, was sick, but I hated the focus on him. He and Perry omg.
5. Enter any random unlikable Calipari “outa here ASAP” player. There’s several. Porter etc.

Sharpe......that could be more on Cal. I've never seen a situation like that in all my years.

Carruth was a gunner but a headcase. His subsequent career has borne that out.
