I've been on this board over 20 years and I've never seen the board do anything but blame the refs, coach and anything they could about every loss. We're Uk, so we have a God given right to win every game. We have thousands of armchair coaches who appear after every loss and tell you, IN HINDSIGHT, how they would have coached us to victory and how awful Cal is. Best advice to myself and other rational UK supporters: never visit this board after a loss

Some truth to this. A+ recruiter, A+ at keeping his teams playing hard, A+ at managing egos. And then just subpar in some areas.

I've wondered that for years. I guess they just practice being their brother's keeper and how to "figure it out". Maybe work on draft combine drills too?

He can't be the worst you have ever seen.... I have seen worse, but I wouldn't describe him as a good floor coach.
This. Hard to understand why we don't use it to change the pace/tempo of a game from time to time. There are numerous benefits to using a zone.

Texas A&M had 2 players that could beat us and he allowed it. Radford & Taylor scored 59
A good Coach would not allow the constant unobstructed drives these two got all day
A simple Hard Hedge or show by our big would at least slow momentum until our guard could recover - you must make the 3,4 or 5 man beat you
How many years have we struggled with the high pick in roll at top of key? St Peter’s guards Kansas St guard - how many times we let other teams best players go off?
As a recruiter and marketer he is top level but this guy has no business at UK managing that sideline

Crazy thing is that Radford kicks our ass every damn time we play them! He’s a good player for sure. However, he never plays as well against anyone else but us. Wish someone had the numbers!

Exactly. Nobody is asking Cal to become Boheim at Syracuse. Just try to throw the other team off kilter some or buy a few minutes to protect a player in foul trouble.

They were waiting in the shadows for the first trip up. Many posters are like this when we have a loss.
Nearly every coach takes the blame for a loss. Pay atttention yourself.
