I agree. We have a lot of incredibly unreasonable fans. If we went undefeated every year and won the NCAA title every year, some of these yayhoos would still be complaining. We should have won by more, we're missing too many free throws, so and so should be playing more. Enjoy the ride people. It doesn't get much better than where we are right now with Coach Cal.

I wondered the same thing. If we dont lose to UCLA we're still #1 and, my guess is, all the doom and gloom talk would be non-existant. 10-0 vs 9-1...not a big deal.
Might still be bashing Skal though...0 pts and 0 reb will get you that.

The ESPN talking heads are actually more unreasonable than our fans. Haven't seen anyone here claiming we should beat a team by 70 or repeatedly lamenting that this team isn't as good as the 2012 team.

People on this board are just negative in general (the VOCAL MINORITY I mean). They take the game of basketball far too seriously. I post on here a lot, and get as mad as everyone sometimes, but I am not worried right now. I know UK will be in the mix for another Final Four/title shot assuming Skal gets better (he will IMO) and one road loss at UCLA does not rattle me. After UK beats OSU and UL, people will shut up a bit with the negativity, but if we lose at LSU in Jan. they will return. Just the way of the idiotic portion of the UK fanbase, again, the VOCAL minority.

Eh, if we beat Duke the talk is 40-0, then we lose to UCLA, the talk is this is an NIT team. I believe UK will be one of a handful of teams in the conversation for the FF. There are no dominant teams this year. I tell you if we had last season's roster 40-0, no doubt
