To all the critics of the Diallo situation

If anyone here hates Cal then they aren't UK fans. There are legitimate UK fans that don't LIKE HIS SYSTEM. Get that through some of your heads. And it's not just them, it's MILLIONS of fans across the county.

Me? I like having the NBA players. I don't mind the system as much as most, right now. I'm using it. Then I'll want it thrown away when Cal leaves. See, honesty.

But these arguments against fans with legitimate beefs is nearing stupid.

Now they defend none and dones.

And don't let the humpers fool you. They're more Cal fans than UK fans. They've spent the majority of their time defending our system and that's now where their priorities lie. Defending anything and everything. And they know damn well that they would defend this happening yearly.

My view is this and it is America and i am entitled to it....Cal is paid very well to do whats best for UK not put players in the NBA...certainly not one thats never played for UK. CAL will take a ton of heat if Diallo bolts and there wont be much anyone can say to defend him

When cal had his first press conference here he sat at the table and said that he was at U.K. Because he could recruit the best of the best.

Some of the fan base might not agree with his way of doing things.

I have come to accept the OAD, even tho I despise it, but it is not Cal's fault, that lie with the NBA, which I also despise. BUT, the none and done is where I draw the line, and will criticize it, hammer it, and go to my grave raising hell about it.

I think the Diallo situation was rare. I don't think we are going to consistently see that happening. Also, he came back so technically there still hasn't been a none and done. Plus reading Diallo's comments when he announced he was coming back....to me that was a kid that actually did everything right in this process. He came in with the dream and desire to go to the NBA, went to the workouts, got all the information and then made an informed decision. In the end, this is obviously going to work out really well for UK and IMO really well for Diallo as well. That's why I can't fault Cal for bringing him aboard and taking a little gamble.

Looks like everything went exactly according to the plan.

Fact is Kentucky wins in all of this. We have a guy who I would consider a veteran for next year to help the guys who are Coming in.

He know how Cal works and what he wants out of our players. Also kept this kid going to cuse and UConn which is wonderful.

I would have been bummed, but wouldn't let it consume me. It's a very unlikely situation to ever be repeated, no matter how much people try to say otherwise.
