FB Recruiting Three of four Rivals analysts pick Bamba to Texas

It's really not that hard to figure out. I hate to say this about any kid, but the reality is he flat out quit. He had never been coached hard in his life, and when it happened, he went into a shell and packed it in. His goal became just get through the season uninjured and head to the league. Now he's playing for money, so it's different.

But let's be honest; he's in the perfect situation as well. There's no pressure there; no expectation to win. You can stuff the stat sheet without really doing anything special. He'll be a guy that puts up good numbers on a bad team. It will be interesting to see how he reacts if he ever gets on a good team and there are actual expectations.

Probably some truth at least. At UK he was expected to perform and WIN. Big difference in using your game to win and using it to put some numbers up as a 7 foot finesse big.

Not to sound incredibly rude butttttt

I don't know who they are. Everyone I follow in terms of recruiting via twitter/websites say UK.

Evan Daniels says UK, he's never waivered.
Jerry Meyer says UK--he always changes it when he gets info--and if he does change to Texas, I'll take the whispers seriously. In the mean time...

Bamba has UK written all over him. From his friendship with Green to his style of play. He just makes sense.

Bamba.

Coach Cal is still the best recruiter in the game but it's arguable. In 2010/14 it wasn't arguable.

It is really not arguable unless you want to argue about it. Take this under advisement just a little bit; how about the character caliber of the Cal recruit versus other top recruiters? I never see that entered into the equation....Cal's kids produce more on and off the court at UK and beyond. Also a note to ponder...don't think for a second that if the Duke and unc players in the nba were to be giving large parts of their fortunes away to charities that it wouldn't be broadcasted and broadcasted loudly.....hence they are not. Cal is still tops hands down. It is not even close.... Be Good
