On Kenpom the efficiency margins we have Duke sitting at +38. Then you got Florida, Auburn and Houston sitting at +35.

I think the goal of adding KP, Torvik and so on is to help give the BEST team a better chance of getting the benefit of the doubt too. It’s a tough tightrope to walk.

There’s 100% truth to that. Just like I’m envisioning a potential 2nd or 3rd round possibility of meeting either St John’s, Arkansas or Louisville in our bracket. Anything less would be a complete surprise

Auburn may be out in the 2nd Round the way they are playing. Even when they win they look like total crap.

Pearl is trying to do some positive reinforcement crap rather than brutal honesty. That Yuckmouf MF'er Chaney Johnson is trash. Denver Jones GAGS in big moments of games. Broome is a stiff legged player-which explains why he often has leg injuries. He is stiff/plays upright and doesn't explode. So you see him trick layups/putbacks--he's really been bad at the FT line lately too. Chris Moore comes in and does what exactly?? Supposedly defends but see him foul and get beat.

Auburn is a team that plays like an AAU team that EYBL or Adidas Gauntlet people gush all over and then it's time to win and they go to shit and when things go rough-the players look for an excuse--Broome/Baker Mazara are ALWAYS banged up in some manner. Pearl and his kid refuse to play their best lineup and then wonder why they don't score.

Auburn's body of work should get them a #1 seed but behind Duke/UF/Houston right now. Talking about end of season not mattering is laughable. You are entering the Postseason losing 3 of 4 and playing bad basketball.
