Vegas had money on this game huge no doubt. That was criminal.
I took Georgia +14 when I saw the spread had stretched that far today. I would have happily lost that bet if we continued to step on their throats and won by 30. I’ll take the back door cover though 😂🤣
Yeah Vegas has to pay for A's and NBA expansion team. We are building stadiums with our money.. I took the under on one ticket..

Never bet on Uk to cover as long as Cal is coach. He throttles the team late in games and evidently doesn’t teach defense.
Not wise to ever bet on one's own team as emotions come into play. Don't feel sorry for anyone that loses money in a game involving their own team.
I don’t generally gamble on Kentucky games at all as a rule. But shew wee, +14 was hard to pass up with the way I know Cal coaches with big leads. I figured if I lost the bet I win either way because that means we win in a blowout.
I was obvious as hell the refs did everything they could to save Vegas in this game ridiculous foul after foul for Georgia without them was easily 20-30 point win

We came in 16th in the country in foul rate (that’s good). Georgia was in the 130s.
Somehow, that flipped tonight. Georgia could bump us at will and we couldn’t breathe on them in the second half.
Almost like the refs were working hard to get it back close to the spread line.

Why? Because sports that allow gambling, is essentially an offsite casino game! Stop betting on sports and you will get a real contest!

I took Georgia. I’ve seen them play a lot, and they don’t quit. They’ve gone on some decent runs this year.

I don’t understand why this is said repeatedly with regard to Vegas. Vegas couldn’t care less who covers the spread. They try to get the same amount of money bet on both teams. They lay off any difference to other casinos to try and get it even and collect the 10% from the losing bets (juice). The other casinos do the same thing. They really don’t care who covers and who doesn’t. There is an astronomical amount of money bet on sporting events and they get 10% guaranteed profit unless it’s a push. Even then they don’t lose a penny.
I think a lot of people are using “Vegas” generically, to cover all manner of sins. The mob. Crooked refs. Point shaving.
I find it odd that so many are willing to gamble their money against a system fueled by more money, to generate more money, polluted to the core with corruption. How anyone gets surprised that these things happen, with regularity, yet continue to do it is amazing to me.
If you don’t think some people with power have illegal money on games like this I don’t know what to tell ya. That’s who pays these dudes off. It’s not Caesar’s, or whoever controlling this. It’s Giancarlo the bookie to the bettors who is gonna take a huge fall if the Cats win by 30, and pays a ref 15k to make sure that won’t happen.
It should be illegal to bet on college games IMO. Pro sports are fair game but college game is too easy to control.

I find spreads VERY unpredictable in basketball games so I favor ML for favorites and points for underdogs.

This is all true; the lines are set to try to even out the betting, not predict the winner. Most of the time it's the same thing but when you can pick the games where they are not trying to predict the outcome you can hit well over 50%.
I replied to your post where you said Vegas was the issue. Now you’re saying Giancarlo the bookie. I won’t deny that Giancarlo may be the problem …. but it’s not the Vegas casinos. And you better stay away from Giancarlo or you may end up missing some digits. Peace.
I’m telling you that I wasn’t referring to Vegas as in the casinos, I was referring to bettors/Bookies in Vegas that have money on the games outside the Casinos. Gambling is nationwide now but everything still starts in Vegas, it’s like Wall Street.
I had a 7 leg parlay giving 10 and a 1/2. Only reason I lost is taken foot off at the end, sucks, but still enjoying watching Z. Could have won 700 on 5.😑

But there were not 2 more minutes and the game winner was never in doubt. I am fairly certain UK has NEVER blown a 29 point 2nd half lead. Ever.
That is some Bs right there. Yeah we sucked, but losing by 9 was a direct result of a lot of BS non calls/calls/technicals/flagrant for good measure. To have a road team shoot 34 FT’s is crazy. They called everything for them all night.

I didn't see "Cal let foot off gas". I saw players playing sloppy (probably because they thought the game was over". Not saying Cal shouldn't try to not let that happen. But letting foot off gas would be running the shot clock down or putting in the bench/walkons, which neither happened.
I know man, it was sick. Even Cal made note of it in the presser saying they sealed off for 5 seconds every play.
