I live close to Huntington. It's been pretty common knowledge that Bryant has been loving Syracuse over Kentucky for some time. He has voiced concerns over who was going and who was staying after this season. Now that the Orange have sanctions, Word is he has Kentucky as a favorite but hedging his bet visiting Indiana. He should wait until declaration date is over to decide.

I want this guy. What about his mom though. Heard she wasn't a fan of Cal.

Let Cal pretty talk her for an hour or so and then see how she feels about him...

Biancardi said earlier that Cuse was full up in scholarships after the sanctions and if I am not mistaken he said that Cuse has contacted Bryant and told him there is no room for him and could not recruit him anymore. Not sure, but that is what it sounded like. It was hard to hear with a 3 year old running around my living room, but I think that is what he said.

I kinda doubt Bryant ever gets an offer from UK to be honest as i think we get Zimmerman and one of the other better guys like Diallo or Maker instead. I think if Crean stays he goes there. He is good player but not as good as any of the other bigs we are after though i wouldn't kick him outta the perverbial recruiting bed either.

Watched him live and in person and he was a decent role player but nothing spectactular. He is not a one and done or a two and done which their is nothing wrong with that.
Somewhat athletic much more so than Dakari, I like him beget than Dakari but he is no where as big but Dakari has shown that he plays well below the rim and has tremendous problems on finishing around the bucket not to mention getting his shot thrown a lot. Bryant is different by being smaller but better finisher more athletic and likes to play above the rim if he gets the opportunity. Doesn't have the post moves like Dakari.
Personally I think he is a better prospect than Dakari but is rated to high. Should be in the 30's.

Would LOVE to have! Saw him at HoopHall in January and this is what I posted:

THOMAS BRYANT - Huntington Prep (Huntington, WV); 2015 PF; 6'-9.5"; 217; 4-Star; 247Sports rank 25; Strong Syracuse lean - 1/18/2015 beat Our Savior New American (Centereach, NY) 77-55: FG 5/7; 3's 1/1; FT 0/1; Reb 10; PF 4; TP 11; A 1; TO 0; Blk 1; Stl 0 - What's not to like about Thomas? Even though this wasn't his most prolific game, this game told me more about him than a game where he scores 35 points. Why? Because Curtis Jones and Ivan Gandia were very hot, hitting 11 of 18 from outside the arc, so the ball rarely got into Bryant. Did he show displeasure, sulk, loaf down the court, or stop rebounding? No, no, no, & no. He has a non-stop motor (MKG?) and the kind of team attitude that Cal loves. I wonder if he is totally healthy, because he bent over several times in an effort to catch his breath and I'm told this just NEVER happens with him. Eight of his points were in the paint and he hit his only 3 showing nice form and ball-rotation. From everything I hear, his mother has decided he is going to Syracuse so he will be close to home. Thomas said it will be his decision, but you know how your Mom can be! Not sure where she will insist he plays 2 years from now in the NBA. Would absolutely love to see this energetic kid in Wildcat Blue next season!

i agree with this from what i have seen of him ( only seen him play one full game ) . He isn't on the level a typical UK recruit IMO. But if we end up getting him as long as we have guys like Dakari and Lee and Poy and Skal it is alright.

Moms Bryant had no issue with Cal but an issue with the platoon. Said something along the lines of him being a FR and he shouldnt have to be worrying about which platoon he would be on. Thomas on the other hand said he liked the idea of the platoons...
