Marcus Lee will be the biggest surprise of the season next year.

Lee needs to put on some serious muscle this summer. I'm not sure if that's possible for him. Also needs to work on a reliable jump shot.

We need the Marcus Lee that can hit free throws.

HAHA come on man . Lee wil be a 10 and 7 guy next year but i will be thrilled if he gets that number up to 50 percent .

That would be nice but 50% won't get it as a starter or 6th man. Cal won't play him at crunch time if he does that and we need him at that time of the game.

Did Cal play WCS at crunch time? How about Joey Dorsey at Memphis (just as bad as Lee)? It's something you work around. There are a TON of players who struggle to hit 60% of their FT's in college, which clearly marks them as unreliable at the end of games. Not all of those guys ride the pine in the last 2 minutes of a close game.

The obsession with FT shooting on this board is utterly absurd. It's beyond ridiculous that someone starts a "hopefully Marcus Lee can start to flash his talent" thread, and the first response is about his frickin' awful FT shooting.
