Yea just let him sit back there and pick you apart, don't use what worked all game that is just stupid.
Plus you don't have to bring the house but maybe the kitchen sink from some angle to disrupt timing. Like the previous play that caused the 3rd and 18
I agree. I saw the 3 man rush and my heart sank. Even if the coverage was tighter the qb could have simply scampered for 10 plus. There has to be a minimum of a 4 man rush there
Exactly! Would have liked a TO there maybe to set something up just a critical point of game. Get players in right spots and execute
Their QB was not going to run for 10+ with us in cover 4. 6-8 at most with all those eyes on him
If we had a real corner out there, that big gain never happens

LSU just had the same situation as we did. 2 straight sacks. I believe they ran a 4 man front with 1 blitzer. I was jealous
Truth be told, I'd have been happier with bringing the house. Even if they get a good pass off, then they likely score on the play and we have more than 17 seconds to work with.
Opponents have sent the house against us in several situations this year when we've been in big holes and the pressure got to Leary and we got sacked or failed to make a play. It's certainly a risk, but I still like that risk more than sitting in a soft coverage and letting them pick it apart.
