The Flintstones is not about a family from a long ago stone age. It's a post apocalyptic show about humanity once we have destroyed most things. My proof, they still celebrated Christmas.

He clearly got lucky/paid Camby (believe what you want)... and I believe Robic was with him also.

Wasn't Camby POY?
I think so, but regardless, he was taking UMass, a program whose coaching staff had to take chairs from the science department to have chairs in their gym for coaches and players to sit on, to Sweet Sixteens before Camby.

Maker's Mark is good bourbon.
Well then, I hope UK never wins a National Championship in football then because I have a Rich Brooks signature bottle of Makers Mark that is only to be opened and used to toast the victory. It was given to me by a coworker whose son was the one who designed the label, and we agreed not to open the bottle until they win a championship. I would not want to swill bad bourbon....

Yes I would, I will just have to take one for the team.

But again, he had Robic... the ACTUAL coach

Always knew their policies were anti-American, but I thought liberals had common sense. Maybe they did once?

Reminds me at a college graduation when the keynote speaker warned the new grads: "Its not what you don't know that will get you in trouble . . . its what you know for sure - that just isn't so that will really hurt"

IIRC, that's a Mark Twain quote and spot on about 99.999% of the time.

Camby was GREAT. But in no world should Camby and UMass have been as competitive with our 96 team as they were without Cal being a good coach. In my opinion, Cal used to be a very good coach and he kind of got spoiled to the point where he needed top tier talent to be competitive.
