The same year another great two-way player has been inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, even. I know it's just one possibly innocent oversight, and I don't read many of their articles, but when I do there always seems to be these mistakes and misstatements. Which is why I don't read many of their articles.

I just wish people knew more about the sports they are covering. It's not like Devin Hester or his induction is a secret. The guy played 3 ways at Miami just like Sanders did at FSU. I don't know how anyone that watches, much less covers, college football wouldn't know that

Well it is KSR and facts are optional. I lost any respect for Roush when he I heard him say he was a UK fan but would always root for his family even if they were playing UK shortly after Brohm got that job. I would disown my wife and kids if they rooted against UK. 🤣

Because the media companies largely have moved away from the idea of a traditional journalist and towards content generators because that's what gets clicks and views. So thus the schools have gone that way as well.

I figured he was too young to remember Woodson. Probably the only reason he knows about DSanders is the recent publicity.

I didn't know this until I looked at the stats but Woodson only caught 11 passes that Heisman year for 231 yards and 2 TDs. He had one punt return TD as well.

I like Woodson but it's kind of crazy that Peyton Manning didn't win the Heisman. But voters are a prisoner of the moment and Woodson had a punt return TD and an interception in the final regular season game against OSU to finish undefeated.

Manning's stats were nearly identical to Danny Wuerfell's the year prior when he won the Heisman.
