They knew what they were talking about, and they were lovely. Not that they didn't belong there, but it's just a place (as a guy) I like to see guys talking sports. That's what I do with my guy friends in real life. There aren't many women in my real life I talk about UK basketball with and it's usually just how the team is doing, who's starting, etcetera. Very high-level things. I only get into serious stats and play-by-play with my brothers and nephews, because none of the women in my life really care about that. To me, it's just a guy thing and that is the reality, I think.

I realize the ladies are here to stay and some are quite good, and I'll just deal with it and move on... however, I will tend to watch something else at halftime if it feels forced. It's like if a man sports writer tried to write women's romance novels... it just does't work sometimes.

Just my opinion.
