I am just beyond myself. I can't take it.
Wheeler's defender is laying in wait in the paint, and while apparently a pick then drive is our only attempt at an offense, this then negates any attempt to drive.
Not to mention Oscar's defender is in there as well, thus making an already crowded lane look like Nicholasville Road at rush hour
Bellamarine, clearly well coached, even had a defender, when in rotation, not go to Wheeler at the three point line, but rotate to the next wing.
And yet, Wheeler played 35 minutes of lane clogging basketball. Lead the team in minutes played.
I think/know/believe it will be next to impossible to win a Sweet 16 or an Elite Eight game with a lane clogging 4 on 5 offense for 35 minutes.
Am I alone, insane or what?
Help me understand.
