The Ukraine war. (Yes, we'll mind our manners)

Signed, the baltics.

You refuse to acknowledge that in Ukraine we 1) orchestrated a coup 2) installed our preferred president 3) paid millions there to influencers 4) paid off 90% of their msm for friendly news coverage.

Until you and everyone pro Ukraine in this thread can admit these undeniable facts; none of you have any credibility.

Honestly it became political way before Trump was elected. Putin isn't a good guy, I think Zelensky started out trying to defend his country, and still is, but also figured out he could rich at the same time. Who knows to what degree Biden, etc were also getting rich. I'm trying to give Trump the benefit of the doubt here, that is this just Art of the Deal stuff, but he seems to have a blind spot for Putin.
Theres a really good reason that Hunters pardon went back to 2014... the same year he joined the Burisma board and Biden got the prosecutor fired or "you aren't getting the billion dollars"... Burisma was a way to get US and Europe financially tied to Ukraine.

You understand the fallacy here though, right? You are arguing Ukraine can join because Russia didn't attack after the Baltics joined... but then they did.... Which shows they were serious about Ukraine not joining. Now that they've killed damn near 1 million people are you willing to bet they are still bluffing, or will you finally admit they were serious this time and DC and EU made a horrible mistake???

Russia literally said they would shatter Ukraine before they would allow NATO to build bases there. How important is Ukraine to you?

Russia is badass. We should consider voting for Russia to be the 52nd state (after Canada).

Someone brought up this quote from a Chinese dude centuries ago about dimplomacy....

”If a country is small but not humble, if it is weak but not wary of the strong, if it is disrespectful and insults its large neighbors, if it is greedy, arrogant and undiplomatic, it will perish." Han Fei 280BC.

Han Fei’s Legalism was all about cold, hard logic—ruthless efficiency over moral idealism. Writing during the Warring States period, he saw small states get swallowed by bigger ones when they miscalculated their position. The quote lays out a recipe for disaster:

  • Small but not humble: A tiny nation acting cocky ignores its limited leverage.
  • Weak but not wary: Failing to respect stronger powers invites retaliation.
  • Disrespectful and insulting: Antagonizing big neighbors risks provoking their wrath.
  • Greedy, arrogant, undiplomatic: Overreaching and alienating others cuts off alliances and trade.
For Han Fei, “perish” isn’t just rhetoric—it’s a prediction. Small states that don’t play smart get crushed, absorbed, or erased. Think Qi or Yan getting steamrolled by Qin, which unified China under Legalist principles Han Fei championed.

It's age old logic like this that makes me crack up about people defending Ukr and Europe still.

Burisma was literally a usaid front to buy friendly media coverage. Hunter's firm pivoted it into more dough, all from taxpayers of course.

All they had to do was make hunter a silent partner. They had so much power, they didn't even see that as a necessity.

He's the younger version of the logically incoherent intransigent pro-war position.

And that ancient Chinese analysis is very good. There's nothing new under the sun. This war was as avoidable as it was unnecessary, as everyone informed fully understood, but there was money to be made and a geopolitical foe to be agitated. It's as simple as that.

This guy is fairly pro Ukraine but he tries to be honest so this is a pretty good video for even the neocons. Russia apparently used pipelines to move troops behind Ukr positions and cause chaos in the Ukr lines. Both sides are still uncertain of outcome but reports are that the fighting is insane and in all 360 degrees in most areas. I've heard reports of 4000 Ukr killed in 2 days on the high side 1000 on the low side... just in this area. Zelensky could have saved these guys but chose to keep his money train coming in.

You've heard? LMAO

Of course you didn't understand. Did I miss you saying how old you were? I am honestly curious. Just want to know if you a young dude without life lessons or and old dude set in your ways.
Remember he's a libertarian, except different than every single mainstream libertarian there is and their stance on this war....those guys are putin puppets, or something, or have been mesmerized and put under Putins spells.

I still can't find the part of the libertarian non aggression principle that speaks onto dumping your own treasure on a foreign land nowhere near you.

They just can't bring themselves to admit the reality without this endless circle of talking points. No one cares about Ukraine, or its ppl, not R's or D's or "saving democracy". It was just a ploy to bleed Russia for as long as we could.

Russia isn't taking over Europe, they aren't even taking over all of Ukraine, it would be a pain for them to forever fight dissidents. This is part of their circular arguments, Russia supposedly will, but at the same time Ukraine can win.

Form a f'n Korea style DMZ and tell Europe to put ppl on it, or don't, and call it a day

No one said that, they said they would attempt, resulting in article 5. But ok. Art of the deal? Also, it's hilarious that repubs think there's just one libertarian viewpoint on the war. Or just one rigid libertarian "type". Republicans, man...

I have a simple question for you. Do you haveaa shred of evidence that Zelensky is pocketing money from the war?

I'm going to read up on your Chinese guy. Its an interesting subject.

France and Germany apparently telling EU to prepare for war with Russia -

Hard to sort the noise from the intel these days but - they're making the formal declaration - link later

Syria's new "moderates" slaughtering Christians & others in the past 48 hours

Things are probably going to get unhinged in 2025 - set your priorities well, friends

Don't give in to panic or fear & don't buy the con that normal americans should turn on each other

Peace yall

GOCATS!!&

Don't give in to panic or fear & don't buy the con that normal americans should turn on each other

Our shadow government literally spent billions every year to make sure we were divided so we were easier to control via distraction.

Ukraine was one of their pet issues because it caused division AND made them all rich in the process, with the potential to make them even more rich via minerals they were going to run through burisma.

As nicely illustrated in this thread, those same supporters are still dug in because admitting they were wrong means admitting they got duped. The pro Ukraine posters here are noticeably fewer, so that's as close to an admission as i suspect we will get.

More glaring is the acute effect of psychological warfare & the various techniques used to control how ppl communicate -

The whole reason we're supposed to prepare for war with Russia was because "Russia invaded"

Who toppled Runisia, Libya, Egypt, Iraq?
Who's state department openly boasted about planning to topple the governments of 5 nations in 7 years?

Who has used war as a provocation for "spreading democracy" since 9/11 and the PNAC?

Who was going after Syria and Iran?
Who moved their troops and military hardware fm west to east and adjacent to Russias borders?

WHO attacked the Russian/Greek Orthodox Church in Ukraine and forced a schism? Arresting priests as Russian operatives?

Who was subverting currency and banks jn the nations they toppled?

Who created ISIS?

In short - it wasn't Russia

And when they finally take countermeasures - they're branded with brain dead demotic speech about being a threat to the location where their own nation was born and their fellow slavs exist

How many ppl literally just believed the same propagandist machine that gave us Gulf Wars, Afghanistan tragedy, and all the other BS we are supposed to continue believing is all about protecting freedom or whatever

We haven't even been fighting wars for US - look around

Don't let the media machine & all the tuned instruments of social media capture your mind so quickly - ask yourself if you're applying critical thought OR NOT

No one here is the type of person who owns media conglomerates or banks - no one here causes world wars for personal gain -- but those types of people (and entities) are Hard at work right now, yall
