That guy was radicalized, just like y’all in here. He was radical blue, you, radical red.


Im not pointing out anyone here - but most American political opinions don't seem well reasoned or informed enough to be considered "radical" anything

It seems more like people repeating state/media establishment words as insults without critically examining what any of it means - and a lot of disassociation from how significantly our country has changed since the end of the Cold War & after 9/11

How can it be radical if the majority of us aren't really doing anything other than repeating terms within a framework of engagement provided to us

And the term radical itself seems to change over time - weren't there 60's radicals that romanticised their radical actions within the SDS & Weather Underground etc?

Our political discourse is no more radical than rock and roll -

OR - maybe i am loopy from too little sleep

Demotic Speech is what it's called
"Jingoism" - serves to protect The State from accountability (and as Orwell said "makes murder and thievery sound respectable")
