The squirrels are in the attic again.....

All you people bashing Coach Tom Crean...[sick][pfftt]:chairshot::boxing::flush:

Don't believe what they're saying CTC, they're just jealous UK fans! YOU ARE THE MAN! Don't stop what you're doing up there in Bloomington! You have that program rolling like a runaway locomotive!

When Did Michael Douglas start coaching at IU?

Love that commercial only because I have that same exact problem. Wife and I just moved back to KY from Michigan. Nice house with a big barn. Well there are squirrels in both dwellings. I just walked back into the house from the attic in the barn. Just put a sonic device in there. Spent half the day in the attic of the house trying to chase them out and seal up entry holes. These squirrels are not easy to exterminate. I have shot 2 so far but there are at least 20 to go. I have traps all over the yard.
I have never even thought about squirrels before, now they consume my days.
Sounds like it's personal this time.

I actually had a problem with squirrels in the attic once. They chewed though a vent screen and
they were storing nuts there. I had to buy a pellet gun to get rid of them. They are very determined animals when they are storing food for the winter.

OK so you killed them for storing food to survive. It's funny how nature works. :) [thumb2]

No I killed them because they were destroying part of my house and they were noisy as hell in the attic.
I had two small children at the time and I didn't want rats with tails running around in my house and possibly biting them
I tried negotiating with them but we reached an impasse so they left me with no choice.

Wait, rats don't have tails?!?! :scream:

Just kidding my man. I've been a big proponent of eradicating squirrels in the past. I'm just busting your nuggets a bit....

If you're St.PatterSoN-54-, you post at very bad times. That's just what you do. :sunglasses:

I try to avoid commercials. It's why I stream so many things. But I have to admit kind of like some of those. They've made popular again the whole "that's just what you do" thing.

I to once had the squirrel's in the attic thing. Had to trap and then release them. Hey, it's Boulder you know. Killing squirrels is a minor violation. You can get fined. They made a nest out of some of my insulation so yea it was war. Made noise sometimes to. Funny from the thread's title I thought maybe OP was referring to what I call the "lunatic fringe" here.

Well, apparently I'm not much of a shot from my bedroom window, I thought I would be shooting a higher percentage but sadly Isaiah Brickso would be laughing at me right now.

There is a red fox that has taken the two I shot but if you want I can fedex the next one's I shoot to you LOL. I just don't have the appetite for Eastern grey squirrel.
Look into adopting a kitten. Have it set up camp in the barn. It'll eventually take care of more than just the squirrels.

Yup, I'm there now. They left me no choice. Since I'm not a very good shot I have a scope coming in tomorrow.
I tried to use traps. Well, they won't go near them and now the birds are eating all the bait food.
I was going to trap them then just release them 10 or so miles away but NOOOOO, they want to play hardball.
I feel like Elmer Fudd right now.

"I thought you were lactose intolerant?"

"Oh that's not lactose, it's milk."

Had same problem, pellet gun and 13 dead squirrels later problem solved.

Every night I get on this laptop after I get through thumb talking on Catspause and watch 2 or 3 episodes of Gunsmoke started back in December with Season 1 Episode 1 and now to season 5 Episode 12 never gets old, Matt was a great actor along with the rest of the cast love to see them teaching morals as they go through their day to day lives. I was reading James Arness got part of his foot shot off during World War 2 and couldn't walk much and the walking scenes had to be filmed in the morning before his foot got to bothering him.
I have all 20 seasons. It took me over a year to watch them. Bought the first 4 seasons. Then got 5-20 homemade recordings from a person online I talked to on a Gunsmoke message board about 5 years ago. Great show.
