Wan'Dale was a great player but let's face it last year our passing game was essentially a one trick pony. Although we lose #1 we are adding élite talent with T. Robinson, Bama transfer Baker, highly ranked freshmen Brown and Key as well as some returning guys that should take a step up including Harris, Crowdus and Magwood. We will be 4 deep at TE and RB. I'm excited to see how the running game evolves under Coach Rich with the addition of a fullback making it harder to defend the run. Compared to last years radical switch from the Gran/ground & pound offense to the Coen/Rams pro style, this should be a much smoother transition going to a similar system, with Levis now having a year under his belt. (recall this time last year we didn't even know who the starting QB would be) All things considered this is shaping up to be our most potent offense since the 2007 team.
Similarly the LB room is crazy deep with talent and experience and the D-line may be the best yet under Stoops with a lot of talent and depth. The secondary could use a little help but when you consider all of the other strengths that we have this is a team that could indeed be playing in the Benz in December.
