The schedule is favorable, the class is historic and UK has plenty of talent returning

You can’t land a QB unless it’s some kid playing 1A ball 45 minutes from the stadium. All your back up options this year are going elsewhere and you’ll probably miss on Arch. WRs aren’t excited to have 400 yards and 5 TDs a year in your offense. You’ll get a good RB. I’ll give you credit there. The new OL coach is spinning his wheels with kids after he let Heisman hopeful Howell get his eggs scrambled 3 times a game on average in year 3.
You sound like BigKitty, are you sure you aren't a Thug U fan?

You don't know that unless you play the game. Just make meaningless top level bowl games that are played every year, first round playoff games.

If not, more and more top players are either going to opt out of playing in those bowl games or try to transfer to a school that actually has a chance to play for a NC.

Saban, Kirby and Ryan Day do not need more recruiting help. Limiting the playoffs to 4 teams gives the top teams a huge recruiting advantage that is impossible for next level teams improve to their level.

That will eventually lead to the death of college football.
You would also have more draft hopefuls opting out of playing, it is one thing to take a chance on one game, they would be agreeing to playing up to five more games, maybe in cold weather. I have seen games in New Orleans with several inches of snow.

Almost as bad as Vols record against Bama, Georgia, and Florida in the last 9 games........almost.

UT vs. Bama since 2013. .000
UT vs. Florida. .111
UT vs. Georgia. .333

Combined record. .148

Any questions??

sure….what does that have to do with the post I responded to….that Stoops beat them twice

Just felt like you over exuberant Vol fans needed to be reminded that just like UK vs. UT, the Vols have 3 teams on your schedule that you have absolutely sucked against over the same period of time that Stoops has failed to beat UT.

We have sucked against UT. At least UK fans are willing to admit we are not on top yet, but Stoops has climbed a long, steep ladder since he came here in 2013...............and......he has done so without cheating.

Bet you can't honestly say that about the Vols, now can you??

That is very possible. We are in a whole new world in college sports today. No way to predict what players will or will not do anymore so it is all probably a moot point.

Heck, might as well let the media name Bama national champs every year and forego playing the games entirely.

UK.

But that is just because I was a fan since I was 6 years old. For most recruits In today's world the answer would be Bama. Georgia, etc, unless they had other five stars recruits better them, quite possible. I would want to play, sitting on the bench at Bama wouldn't be my thing.
If you were a 5 star, Bama would give you at least 100000 reasons to come sit the bench for three years to get a chance to play one year for a NC.

So your 3 teams are east teams, one of which has experienced its worst 9 yrs since the forward pass but we have to include Bama in its best 9 yrs ever. And we have same win percentage?

Wan'Dale was a great player but let's face it last year our passing game was essentially a one trick pony. Although we lose #1 we are adding élite talent with T. Robinson, Bama transfer Baker, highly ranked freshmen Brown and Key as well as some returning guys that should take a step up including Harris, Crowdus and Magwood. We will be 4 deep at TE and RB. I'm excited to see how the running game evolves under Coach Rich with the addition of a fullback making it harder to defend the run. Compared to last years radical switch from the Gran/ground & pound offense to the Coen/Rams pro style, this should be a much smoother transition going to a similar system, with Levis now having a year under his belt. (recall this time last year we didn't even know who the starting QB would be) All things considered this is shaping up to be our most potent offense since the 2007 team.

Similarly the LB room is crazy deep with talent and experience and the D-line may be the best yet under Stoops with a lot of talent and depth. The secondary could use a little help but when you consider all of the other strengths that we have this is a team that could indeed be playing in the Benz in December.

Go home-----if you have one.

No, just go away, AH.

Thanks for proving my point.
First downs: UT 17
UK 35.

Yes you won by 3 points and lost in every other single offensive category for that game. That alone should tell you that UT had to have some help in winning that game.

And you did. You just refuse to admit it. If those calls had gone against UT at Knoxville, those officials would not have survived the barrage of stuff being thrown on the field.
Hahaha

But for 8m kids will come to Knoxville to ruin their NFL chances. Play us closer than 3 TDs and your little cut might mean something.right now you might as well be a fan of Vandy and irrelevant. Sucks being UGA's batch doesn't it. And yes that's exactly what UT is. enjoy.

Maybe he bust. Maybe he’s our Deshaun Watson. Sorry it’s got you so upset. UGA won a Natty at the perfect time tho. Kinda like Army winning one right before the forward pass got popular. Schools with non SEC affiliated money, those schools with things like big stadiums and IPFs before the SEC started handing out welfare checks every year, those are the schools that will compete in NIL. If your IPF is less than 5 yrs old, scrounging up the money is going to be tough to compete in NIL.

I don't think Army had football before the forward pass was invented, it was invented because football had 32 fatalities in one year with a tenth of the players. I will hang up while you look it up. Did you know when first invented an incomplete pass was a turnover? Didn't think so.

It’s an expression because nobody used it before the 50s. There were Heisman winnings QBs with less than 1000 yards passing

Why don't you pick negative threads to comment on, that way you could be positive about the threads.

Ummm…. Besides Tennessee, How you doing against Georgia and Florida…..and you don’t play Alabama every year or you could add them in

Here's the difference. I'm not on their board boasting about a 7-6 team.

I could be on the Missouri board, the Vandy board, and yes, the Louisville board, even the Florida board, boasting about our wins over them.

But you can't. You can't even go to the Georgia State board and boast.......or at least you shouldn't.

You Vol fans are insufferable when you THINK your team is going to be good NEXT YEAR,....AGAIN.

With the caveat that certain injuries can radically change a team's outlook in a heartbeat, I agree with this assessment. Stoops' 2022 team is set up for another double digit win season, if our coaches have more success with the transfer portal this spring. As Stoops himself has said in plain English recently, we need another CB and another LT, at least. If we don't shore up our secondary, we will be vulnerable to other SEC teams with strong passing games (like OM and TN) despite our strengths. Our coaches know this, and are addressing it. They have shown a knack in the past for getting the job done, so I remain very optimistic.

I have seen a few posts citing the spring game as evidence of our defensive vulnerabilities. We need to keep in mind that the spring game is played mainly by younger backup players, using only base schemes. The starters were mainly out after the first quarter. There clearly was a tendency for the younger DBs to be beaten, with a few interesting exceptions. But the defense that takes the field next September will be a different unit. We are deep with highly recruited players on our DL, and OO will be back. All of our 2021 starting LBs and top reserves are back, and LB is also one of the strengths of our recruiting class. The secondary is the issue, especially with Tisdale out. Let's keep an eye on the transfer DB visiting Lexington this week, as that could be a difference making visit.

So losing to GSU with a coach no longer is worse than losing to WKU and Southern Miss with a coach you kept?

Just stop. You are showing your ignorance. UT fans love living in the past.

Not our problem UT has been unable to hire a coach that can rebuild your football program.

We found one, and unlike UT and their idiot fans, we recognized how bad our team really was when he took over and was PATIENT enough to give him time to rebuild.

How about the Vols??? IF Huepel goes 7-6 again this year, you guys still going to be tooting your own horns, OR will those other UT horns come out and you skewer Hoepel like you have every other coach since Cheating Phat Phil got fired???

Tennessee is the “credit card millionaire” of college athletics. Had a good job once, you know like the Assistant Regional Manger. Now just barely getting by.

But they run around every party telling everyone how “rich” they are. Everyone knows the truth.

Reality is they are known for two things Peyton Manning (that is fading away) and their online and in-person fan base. That is only getting stronger and that stinch will last forever.

Oh, and ut fans save me the “KY poverty state” etc. comeback jokes. That only corroborates your vile nature and outlook on anyone that doesn’t wear that “throw - up” orange.

2 years ago vol fans were telling anyone who they could Jeremy Pruitt and staff were the country's best after coming off an 8 win season riding a 6 game winning streak. Fast forward 2 games and riding an 8 game streak the vols were riding high, their only concern was Pruitt going home to Bama when Saban retired because he was a real football coach. then the 3rd game with UGA beat that rear and made them quit on Pruitt. forward 3 months and the vols are looking for a reason to fire Pruitt and his staff with cause, even turning themself in for handing out money to recruits, a long time vol tradition. Now 2 years later, same old crap from the vols, best coaching staff in the country. Which proves vol fans are clueless as well as delusional.

Bingo!!!

Yeah, you just made that up granny

You wish I did, but you know it's the truth.

But I can see why Vol fans are delusional, having to think that ugly ass convict orange the vols wear looks good will dull one's senses. It's the worst color in conference. At least the AU and UF orange is a rich orange, not some faded out orange like you guys wear.

Lol, TN fans come here because where else could they go? Complete trailor trash.
TN fan - Should I go to Bama board - um no
Georgia board? nope
Florida maybe? eh
Ole miss? pass
Purdue - nuh uh
Ah KY board we beat them by 3 this year. Lets go stir some dirt yeeehaw.
Idiots.
