The only complaint I have with today's game

Passing attack was bad. Too many errant throws, several tipped at the LOS and receivers who dropped several good throws. Luckily, the OL dominated the entire game and the defense, as usual, was pretty darn stout. Didn't need to throw much, for sure. I definitely thought we'd be better than we've shown so far this year, though.

Napier and his offensive coaches made some very questionable calls on short yardage plays multiple times. He evidently can recruit, but I don't think he's much of a coach from what I've seen. Hope he gets a lifetime contract.

Not sure about intensity. Outscored them in the second half even though the TD drive right out of halftime pretty much put the game away. Plus, we were inside the 10 and let the clock run on the last series.

Defense played intensely all game except that drive right before half. We seem to do that a lot this year.

I to am now concerned about Leary. He had been unimpressive all year but figured he come around. Though we didn't need him much today he may just never get back into NC State form with his injury

Receivers letting Leary and the team down. Need to us Robinson as the primary receiver a lot of the time, kinda like Wandale was. Let Key and Brown work their way back to reliability.

Man Leary has to develop some touch. He throws a rocket and the ball is very heavy on the receivers hands. He needs to take some off it and develop some touch.

Those drops are not on Leary. All WR hands.
True, but Leary missed plenty of times today. The pass to key at the EZ should've been easy. There were several other bad throws too. Fortunately, it didn't matter today and UK still dominated. That is one of the GREAT things about today. Big dominating victory and clearly things that still need work. Win-win.

But he has to get more accurate OR the receivers need to run better routes. I'm no scout by any means, but he looks like he has a TON of potential. He and Coen have to get him there. Quickly.

Another thing that is happening is his passes are getting knocked down WAY TOO OFTEN. He isn't tall enough to take a short drop, so that is equally on Coen not putting him in that position. Heck, if he has to go out of the Shotgun EVERY play, so be it or move him out of the pocket!!! What I thought would be his strength has ACTUALLY not been much better than Levis, his PRE-SNAP reads and recognition. Leary just hasn't been as patient as I thought he should be because our O-Line gave him all the time he needed today.

I realize Brown and Key aren't helping Leary by dropping so many passes, but the entire passing scheme is off for some reason. Our TE's are not being utilized enough either.

And to add to this, will someone get Stoops a blue and white shirt to wear at games. Nike knows our colors. Black is not one of them. Come on Stoops. Get with it.

And that will get you beat at UGA and against UT and Bama, you can't let them run down the field to score right b4 end of half

My complaint is that our intensity dropped after halfway through the 2nd quarter.
Happened last week too after the big start. We couldn’t sustain the intensity. And yet again we gave up a cheap score right befor the half. Fairly common of us.

But make no mistake, this was the most complete game of the year so far in terms of No turnovers, very few penalties, especially crucial ones. That was something we needed to see because that was a problem through the first four. We dominated today.

I think that’s only natural. After hearing all week the gators was going to manhandle us. After the game starts and you realize you’re better than them. It’s understandable!
