However, This offense is just in its infancy. The movement to get open 3 point shots has been successful. We have only seen glimpses of the cutting action that occurs when defenses sell out to pressure the 3 point shooters. The back doors and late cuts will be seen more as our guys begin to master the offense. Also watch when our guy either dribbles off the high pick (Amari or BG) or receives a pass from the post as they are cutting to the basket. BYU would have a shooter in either corner to occupy 2 defenders. They have to make a decision - stay with their man and give up a layup or help and leave the 3 point shooters open.
