The great Canadian sports writer Sonny Bairos......

That is one disturbed guy.He hated UK for some reason and really seemed to have anger at Jamal's dad.It was creepy how obsessed he seemed about him going to Oregon.

Didn't like UK one bit but criticizing Murray's dad in that article will really put a dent in his lifestyle in bb circles there.

If you all have a chance if this guy puts his account back up--look what he said about Murray and his family when he decided to focus on school to re-classify. Called him out for "bailing on CIA Bounce" and was very antagonistic with Murray family. This dude is one weird mofo.

When are people going to realize that the majority of "sportswriters" write what they HOPE will happen?

This is why you should never go by ANYONE in the media. They have no idea what is going on, people are silly for even reading it.

It's why the news suck now these days.

Here is a few of his quotes:

That said an announcement regarding Murray’s next move is now officially stalled— except entering worst kept secret status.

When exactly Jamal Murray goes public on his desire to take his talents to Oregon remains to be seen when it does though it will be a case of effort rewarded.

Throughout the year Kentucky kept taps on Murray but no more then teammate Thon Maker. Oregon made him a primary target from day one. During Orangeville Preps season opener in Brampton, ON last November no Kentucky assistants were present. Ducks assistant Michael Mennenga sat front row.

Go to Kentucky win a championship and be another name on a long list of produced pros? Or go to Oregon and attempt to be a legend if the Ducks can make their first Final Four in 75 years

He even insinuates Mr Murray made Jamal pick UK instead of his original choice Oregon because of the leaks annoying him.

“He has always been weirdly over protective of Jamal. With Sunday’s report stirring the pot don’t put it past Roger to go against the grain on his destination now out of spite,”
