The great ACC football conference

Don’t sleep on Clemson though. Klubnik kid returning. He may get some heisman hype. Really good, experienced QB who actually came up in that program has developed with the players and staff. Stable program in terms of staff and roster. Not as much turnover as most others.
SMU is the team to watch in the ACC. Alot of Dallas money to buy players and a young hungry coach.

The SEC is the best conference but it is being carried by Georgia, LSU and Alabama last ten years.
Respectfully disagree, since the advent of the BCS in 1998, 26 seasons (27 championships due to LSU and SoCal both in 2003):
SEC: 15 titles by SIX different teams
ACC: 5 by 3 (Miami, FL in 2001 may have been BE, but I don't really care, it would only make the point even more)
B10: 3 by 2
B12: 2 by 2
P12: 2 by 1 team.

So, since the BCS, the SEC has had more different teams win the championship than any other conference has championships. And the above count results in SEC = 15, everyone else in college football = 12.

While the SEC may be "down" this year, there is no serious argument against the SEC being the best conference in NCAAF.

I said the last 10 years.

I said the last 10 years.
even looking at the last 10 years, 3 SEC teams have won it all. Over the last 10 years, the SEC has won 6 titles and everyone else won 4.
1 each for Mich and O$U and 2 for Clemson.
IOW in the last 10 years, the SEC has won 6 by 3 teams. EVERYONE else has won 4 by 3 teams.

The SEC has had 3 different teams win it in just the last 5 years, taking 4 of those 5. Just because 3 teams have dominated NCAAF the past 5 seasons, doesn't prove anything ... unless your standard is a different SEC team has to win it every year.

And my point still stands, the SEC may be down this year, but is the dominant conference in NCAAF.

They should be, look at the advantages. All the money, all the recruits, the best coaches, ESPN support. The only reason the SEC overall has slipped slightly is teams are legally allowed to buy the SEC rejects and it's created some parity.

The SEC isn’t down Georgia and Alabama have been. You see that right.

The SEC is the best conference but that doesn’t have anything to do with who is the best team. The best team can be from any Power 4 conference. The SEC has been dominated by Georgia and Alabama. LSU had the best roster maybe ever had nothing to do with their conference.

Ohio State has the best roster this year. Has nothing to do with the Big Ten.

I will never understand the love or hate for conferences. Great teams can come from anywhere especially in this new era.
